Good to hear because a manual GLI is on my list of potential next cars.

Like Vivek Ramaswamy these people realize that the one thing they can offer Republican voters that no white candidate can, is cover for their racism. As for the innocent, vulnerable people who are harmed... do you think they give a shit? I’m sure they’re crying all the way to the bank.
George Santos understands the GOP electorate well, and realizes that the only possible future he’s got, moving forward, is in right-wing politics. Republican voters are willing to forgive any crime, as long you you say the right things and are angry and vulgar enough when you say them. The GOP is the proverbial…
Naaah, this isn’t a misleading headline.
Bingo. No police department is going to spend the money it would cost to maintain these vehicles if they were seeing 10 to 20 k miles per year on actual patrol duty.
In this crazy market $15.5k is a decent price for a nice, stock, unmodified FRS with under $100k miles. This ain’t that. No dice.
Not all Americans are that stupid, but apparently enough that that was a viable strategy.
That.Is.Awesome!
Is there a “giant glass of beer” app that you can install, that fills the screen with an image of a big glass of beer that sloshes and spills with the g-meter?
It’s almost like Subaru’s design philosophy is: “I dare you to buy this pig.” Which is a shame, because WRXs are unique, fun cars. Wouldn’t it be amazing if the last manual WRX were the sort of thing you turn around to look at one more time after you park it?
I call them “Moms for Libertinism.”
Definitely like the nose on the BRZ better than the 86. The Brembo brakes make this the whole package. It’s just a shame you can’t get it in green. I was sitting next to a special edition Toyota 86 the other day and that car was absolutely gorgeous in that deep green hue.
For $35k you can get an almost new, certified Acura TLX A-Spec. Creature comforts, reasonably sporty for what it is, and about as reliable as a car can be.
A car from a time when automakers thought they could sell more trucks by making them look like sedans. Today, you want to sell a car you need to make it look like a truck.
It doesn’t have anything to do with the dead hooker in the trunk, does it?
Very cool. I’m eager to see what the production car looks like vs. the concept car. Given the low production numbers I suspect it’ll be pretty close... unless this is more of a trial balloon to gauge interest in full-blown production.
Exactly. Buick sells luxury cars. Chevrolet sells trucks. In this backward-ass world, a luxury car is $30,000 vehicle with pleather seats and soft-touch plastics on the dash and door. Trucks, are much more utilitarian, with heated and cooled leather seating surfaces, remote start, 15" touch screens, 25" chrome wheels,…
(...the judge can probate the entire sentence and impose little-to-no jail time). I guess if that counts as getting away with it, then yes.
Doing donuts in an SUV, with its high center of gravity? Welcome to moronsville...
Truly this is the era of the $5,000 car that costs $10,000.
