2011 Acura TSX 6-Speed manual. 170K miles. Bought it from Carmax five years ago with 95K miles on the clock for $14k. Paid $10K cash after my trade-in.

Maybe it’s just me, but I’d take the opinion of a guy who owns a car over the opinion of a guy who doesn’t.

This car never made sense... I know there are loads of EV promoters insisting that we should all stop having range anxiery and learn to love lighter EVs with smaller batteries and a 50 mile range, but that’s.just.not.gonna.happen.

Yeah... and it’s not like this ruling is going to have a huge effect. It’s just going to mean automatically towing any car that has unpaid tickets the next time it is found parked illegally. This is 2023, not 1973. Any cop with a laptop (or smartphone) and a data connection should be able to quickly determine if the

You’re 100% correct. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this movie.

Build your own boat from plywood and fiberglass? Errrr...

I rented an MG compact when I was down in Cancun on vacation. Not an EV, but the point is: anyone who thinks Chinese cars are cheap junk is deluding himself. This thing was as well built and drove as well as any Kia, Hyundai, or Nissan compact car I’ve driven. It’s game-time, and I fear U.S. automakers may be napping.

Bingo! The big 3 have decided to content themselves selling big profit margin SUVs and Trucks... make more money selling fewer vehicles. At some point the consumer is going to look at the value proposition that these new Chinese brands offer and tell Ford, GM and Chrysler to go F themselves.

The lighter the Kayak the more it’s going to cost. Also, the more features you want. That’s just the way it is. You can get a nice 55-60 lb 13 foot Kayak with sealed bulkheads for $800. That’s what I paid for my Riot Enduro. You want that same boat 10-15 lbs lighter? It’s probably going to cost you 2 to 3 times as

Dude, don’t spend $40k on a new car. Keep the FPace and buy a lighter kayak. Here you go: Eddyline Sitka LT. $2500.00. Weighs in at 47 lbs. Depending on what sort of Kayaking you do, you can get lighter ones as well. My Eddyline Rio only weighs 35lbs (Due to previous surgeries I’m not supposed to lift more than 50

So, by extension, Porsche will continue to make ICE vehicles forever...

This thing is cool. And I’m of the opinion that a manual transmission makes any car fun (I can find enjoyment driving even my daughter’s 5-Speed Nissan Versa). Throw in a drop top and you’ve got the perfect recipe for weekend motoring.

I know I don’t... but I kinda do....

And I want one soooo bad!

Problem with the slingshot is that the Morgan 3-Wheeler exists. Slingshot makes you a dumb, lazy American who wants a motorcycle but can’t be bothered to actually learn to ride a motorcycle. A Morgan 3-Wheeler is exactly the same thing, but riding one of those makes you a quirky automotive enthusiast with an endearing

Kinda shocked that pretty beach in the title picture is so empty of swimmers.

Years ago I drove out to Colorado and hit some roads with 80 MPH speed limits. What I found was that people tend to drive 10 MPH over the speed limit until you hit 80 and then it’s 5 MPH over. 85 MPH seems to be the max speed that most people feel safe driving. Yeah, there’ll always be some dude in a Mustang happy to d

Oh, please tell me his campaign bus slammed in to the 11‘ 8" bridge and there’s video of it!
