You lost me at 2WD.... OK, you’d already lost me at “bad transmission” but you lost me again at 2WD.

Exactly. “Get a PPI” sounds a lot easier than it is most of the time.

The modern version of this, basically:

I’m not sure I feel comfortable inhabiting a planet where a Cygnet and a Vantage V8 go for similar money...

Not a bad idea, but I’m sure very few sales (other than private sales of rare cars) are done with a PPI.

While the dealer is definitely scummy, Munoz is not without fault here, either. Munoz should have done more to check and make sure that everything with that car was fine

My very first car was a Datsun wagon, not unlike that one, but red.

Spread thee word:; the most overrated car of all time is the 1st Gen NSX, manual transmission. Absolutely awful cars. If you have one, I’m terribly sorry, but I’ll take it off your hands... as more of a favor than anything... I’ll even give you $30k, which is $29k more than its worth. Again, give me a call... I’m

Bingo. If you didn’t buy it on Craigslist, I find that claim hard to believe.

This is what I was going to say. Yeah, the cars are awful in every way to live with, but by now everyone know that to be the case, so it’s not exactly a surprising conclusion. Hard to call them “overrated” when everyone knows they’re hot garbage.

Not loving the instrument cluster. They should have gone full LCD. The steering wheel and column needs work, as well. Looks too skeletal. Other than that, I approve. Looks nice. I saw a Diablo at my local Cars and Coffee couple of weeks ago, and the interior was shockingly low rent. Looked like a kit car interior that

This is soooo dying for a resto-mod. Because, I mean, because it deserves to be driven, but you’d be insane to try and actually drive this with the stock Aston Martin guts.

Yes!!!! Ron DeSantis just signed a lew in Florida making direct from manufacturer sales illegal in the state (except for all-electric manufacturers, because of his new BFF ELon Musk). And, of course, that Florida law is hardly unique... in fact, they’re really late to the party.

Saw a video where, after all the shipping, import duties, dock fees, etc a Chan Li ends up at about $8000. I’d totally spend a couple grand more for a Topolino.

I mean... this thing could get me to work and back...

Meanwhile, dealers, forever the unnecessary middle man, are tacking on markups and add-ons that seem to be getting higher every time a new model drops.

I see a urprising number of the trucks and the SUV where I live. They seem to be getting customers.

A standard is good news, as far as wider adoption of electric is concerned. This doesn’t make Elon Musk any less of a douche, of course, but that’s a whole different story.

I replaced my clutch recently (about 160,000 miles). So yeah, 80k miles seems low, but I guess that largely depends on driving habits.
