Another Lambo concept comes to my mind. It might look something along the lines of the hybrid Asterion concept.

I concur.

Still, my god that’s gorgeous!

I was very happy and surprised when the EU passed all those customer data protection laws. However, the tangible end-result of them is that every time I travel to Europe, the only way I can use just about any site is by clicking upfront to agree to give up my data, and install tracking cookies, and all that BS. Soon

That’s true. And, to that end, the only security flaw I’ve seen in recent times that has been truly egregious is the Hyundai/Kia key exploit...because it is within the capability of even the dumbest thief to jam something into the ignition slot and crank the car to life.

According to the article there was at least one image of a naked man that they shared. It doesn’t even mention people having sex in their cars, which we know people have done on autopilot but 100% happens while parked too. And if the images/videos exist, they’re definitely more likely to be shared than a “distinctive

Do both

These lines don’t bother you?

Nothing can stop a sufficiently motivated criminal. We just want to the threshold of “sufficiently” to be as high as practical.

Well after 90 minutes to get the car into service position they would be able to access the headlight wiring

If these guys can get into a light harness on a modern vehicle in under sixty seconds . . . without the key, they’d make WAY more money as mechanics.

I have an Audi so it’s actually a “CAN’T bus” in my situation.

And this is why IoT shit is cancer.

right? I have yet to find a need to have some of these smart home devices, much less the garage door. Why would I ever want to open my garage door from far away? I’m either there to open it or it’s not getting opened.

Sabtean made a video proof-of-concept of the hack. It shows him fist opening his own garage door as expected with the Nexx app.

If you were concerned about security, you’d have multiple layers, kinda like multi-factor authentication for logging into your accounts.

Only one smart outlet? Those are rookie numbers. I have a chain of seven different smart outlets that terminate at a gas generator pull started by dropping just the right feed in front of a tethered moose.
