I’m guessing he’s focusing on commercial/fleet usage, not your neighbor that occasionally pulls a boat.
Wouldn’t trucks be good candidates for gas/electric hybrid? The electric motor would have decent range when driving unloaded, and the gas or diesel is there for towing range.
