While I agree that the target audience for this likely skews 40+, most car enthusiasts are familiar with the iconic GT40, particularly since Ford revived it as the GT in 05 and again two years ago. And Carroll Shelby is a household name thanks to his longtime association with the Mustang, etc.

He must have been clean for this or they would have featured it in the movie.

Trucks are already expensive, and an electric one would cost even more. I don’t see it as being a mass market success at this point. However, they could start with fleet models like they did the CNG trucks and see how that goes.

Most drag racing is traditionally a 1/4 mile distance, or 1320 feet. Top Fuel reduced the distance to 1000 feet several years ago for safety reasons.
