This is all I can think of.
This is all I can think of.
As an educator I really start to panic sometimes about how the world of Idiocracy is being realized so swiftly. I’m genuinely concerned about people losing the will to read things that challenge their intellect, and as that goes, people have less and less of an attention span for reading. And the open antagonism…
His worst quality is that he tends to be a perfectionist.
Totally-And I agree that this article leaned towards hitting at Reynolds and that’s a bit of a “throwing the baby out with the bath water” situation. He happens to be a white male in a system that leans heavily towards white males. That isn’t his fault, and of course he should get to work. I’m sure this movie will be…
Thing is, Reynolds has been trying to get this movie done for eleven years. Over a decade. No one wanted to touch it. He didn’t just sit back at some bar and go, “I think I am going to make a Deadpool movie.” And two weeks later started filming.
The character and movie would still look fun with another actor in that role.
This isn’t really the movie to bring that up on, “ Ryan Reynolds spent the better part of a decade trying to get a Deadpool movie made. ... ‘get into trouble for saying that, but I’ve waited 10 years to do this movie so I’m leaving with a fucking suit.’.” From a cinemablend article about him taking home a suit. He’s…
I don’t know, this just seems a bit unnecessary. I was expecting to read about some terrible thing Reynolds did or said in the past to justify it to no avail. At the end of the day, he’s a nice guy and he’s legitimately talented so who cares? In today’s world, when celebrities are constantly letting us down with the…
To be clear, I’m no Ryan Reynolds fan. While I did like Two Guys and a Girl (post-Pizza Place) that was probably more about Nathan Fillion and Traylor Howard. I’ve never paid to see his movies, and have never really been tempted to, but this one happens to look like it will be fun even if the marketing campaign needs…
I always enjoyed him in two guys a girl and a pizza place. I thought Van Wilder was awesome. I liked him in waiting. I thought he was really good w/ Denzel in Safehouse. And I am geeeeeeked up for deadpool
He was really funny on that show. Every Ryan Reynolds movie I’ve seen is because of that show. It’ll still take me through Deadpool, too.
But two guys a girl and a pizza place’s theme song was a violent femmes song!! That has no bearing on him just... I like violent femmes.
I agree for different reasons. I think the “super self-involved people are shamed by others” plotlines were great. I was also pretty down with the whole hollywood thing that showed that no matter how thoughtless you might be of other’s feelings the movie business made you look like an amateur.
Then we were supposed to…
Except Nye’s not saying race doesn’t matter in society nor dismissing the grievances of POC. It’s a STFU to white supremacists.
Still doing all the emotional work in the relationship, eh, Rose?

‘which even Jezebel distanced itself from’
Lololol.
83% at its zenith in the 1960s. It’s steadily going down, some places it’s less than half.
