The language has changed. The dictionary definition just hasn't caught up yet. I'm not exactly sure how you would go about doing competitive Sudoku or Knitting....but I have an open mind.

Because even if you want to argue over the dictionary definition, there's a different connotation that exists between a "sport" and a "game", and one does not exclude the other. Basketball or Baseball can be "games" as well, especially when its something you do as a past time on the weekend with your friends.
The

.....I don't.

Huh? The Walking Dead? When did I quote that?

That's what *MAKES* it the perfect zombie survival games. Zombies are never the scariest part of the zombie apocalypse. The survivors are always the scarier monster.

It's really unfortunate that human beings can be so superficial as to think that a persons name has any bearing on their behavior, qualifications, or work ethic....but its the sad reality we live in :(

I agree the examples you used aren't too bad, and I used to really like the idea of unique names....but then I thought about how rough childhood can be already without a unique name to single you out. Then when I heard about how people with nontraditional names have a harder time getting job interviews I decided it's

My thoughts on giving your kids crazy videogame names is this.....go for it and indulge your fandom, but have the decency to make it their *MIDDLE* name.
Give your kid a normal first name to ensure their career prospects aren't affected too much and if they happen to like being named "Sarah Tali'zorah Brown" great. If

"We're buying more pc games than we can play"

YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW!!!?!?!??!?!?!

I don't play DayZ due to not having the time to invest in it....but I still *love* that game from a far simply because it, more than any other zombie game out there, understands the truth behind all great zombie apocalypse stories.

I actually would like to point out something positive here a lot of people seem to have missed:

Did anyone notice that it didn't actually go back to the main menu until rematch was pressed? The first time I heard about this I was imagining a Starcraft II grand finals scenario where the internet connection was dropped

I gotta admit, as someone who used to hate trash talking and drama in the competitive scene...I've really grown to love it.

SMH at all these comments telling these people to "get a real job". Most of you have no concept of just how hard these people work to generate the content they do at the rate they *have* to in order to make a living.

I gotta say, I don't really get into competitive SSB much at all and I kind of feel like they're forcing a silly little party game into something it was never meant to be....but goddamn I can't help but respect the hell out of that scene.

I'm really super into Injustice right now and NEC has been the first bright spot

All this talk about how there's not enough characters in this game to justify the price point of each one is seriously making me shake my head. A fighting game's worth should not be measured in how many characters it has.

In the end, most fighting games with an overly inflated cast tend to boil down to about half a

It's funny, I never really appreciated this piece until I heard Tay Zonday and various other covers of it. Something about the original version feels so meh and "generic fantasy choir music" to me even now....but hearing versions like this really highlights the dragon lyrics and somehow ups the awesome factor to me.

Now playing

Game: Mass Effect 2

Platform: Xbox 360, PS3

Song: Suicide Mission

Composer: Jack Wall

Where it plays: During the final mission of the game against the collectors

Why it's great: Comeon, just listen to the damn thing! It's hard to imagine there could be a better theme to embody the act of defying fate and overcoming

I've often said that in order to get into fighters you *have* to be reasonably masochistic. Even for the most entry level fighters, the learning curve is about as steep as it gets and while the communities for each game are far from the worst out there....they can definitely be more than a little rough to newcomers.

Wasn't it just announced recently that Evo is going to be on xbox next time around? Granted, that still won't help them out much in Sony dominated markets out there...but lets be serious here: the killer instinct IP itself is probably a bigger barrier than its console in those areas anyway.

Wow...those knees are kind of cringe worthy. Kind of puts vanilla wow art in perspective.
