Many do, and as I said, they have no obligation to keep up to date on the latest itteration of these games. Vanilla Street Fighter IV is still sold at your local gamestore and I'm sure there's a bunch of people out there who still play it. These kinds of "tune ups", iterations, and updates exist for the hardcore

Yes, I watched Evo13 (it was bloody awesome), and you know what I saw: not a single solitary FRACK being given about Zero's dirt, because the villain of that event was indisputably ChrisG's Morrigan/Doom/Vergil team. That's what's been dominating the tournament scene for the last year and a half or so.

It's Mahvel baby! A *lot* of the cast are broken in their own way. That's half the appeal. Also, I'm guessing you haven't followed the game in a while if you're still complaining about Zero. This is the age of Vergil spiral swords and Morrigan's Soul Fists.

6 buttons. 4 attacks, 2 buttons for your assists. You're probably thinking of one of the previous versus games like Marvel superheroes versus streetfighter.

It's not that simple. It can take years for the best players to fully crack open the game and figure out who the best characters are and what the most overpowering strategies can be. Upon initial release most people thought Vergil was just a poor man's wesker, and it took a long time for ChrisG to perfect his soul

This was the highlight of evo most definately. I stopped really paying attention to marvel 3 competitively since ChrisG's soul fists started dominating the tournament scene, but I knew how badly he wanted this one and I tuned in expecting the inevitable but praying for a miracle.

Injustice because of how new it is. It's a guarantee there's going to be some new technology and sleepers rocking characters that nobody expects.

"That's only because Superman reversed time and thus they ended up back inside the Phantom Zone. That doesn't change the fact Superman killed them. It just gets him an out for them still being"

Here's the problem I keep having with all these studies: they seem totally unconcerned at detecting the long term impact of violent videogame media which IMO is what actually matters.

Doing these kind of studies might show that after playing violent videogames for an hour it makes a person somewhat more prone towards

I prefer the richard donner cut of superman II. Coincidentally, Zod, Ursa, and Non are all alive at the end of the movie.

A Batman without a no kill rule is completely nonsensical, if for no other reason, because it invalidates the great lengths the character has gone to avoid using guns.

Damn straight!!! Seriously, the things I'd do to have a sequel to that game.

My favorite version of Superman far and away is the 90's Superman Animated Series by creative geniuses Bruce Timm and Paul Dini, and I still think they had the best solution to the problem of "Superman is too powerful".
While occasionally Kryptonite or red sun rays would be used in plotlines, they were never forced to

"I'm pretty sure the terraforming wouldn't have done anything to his powers."
Wrong. You didn't pay attention to the movie. It's a major plot development in the movie when Clark goes aboard their ship that the adjustment to their atmosphere negates the powers earth's sun gives him, and Zod specifically tells Jor-El

-You completely dodged my point about terraforming which proves to me that you either fail at reading comprehension or you have no response to it (I suspect the later).
Yes, he came to earth and he found the codex as a way to keep his race alive. Great. Repopulate the race, rebuild Krypton. And hey, here's a crazy

*spoilers*:

-Plot is stupid. First hour or so was ok, but the minute that Zod showed up on earth the whole movie goes completely downhill. What the hell was his motivation? To terraform earth and make new krypton?
Why? These people are gods on our world. They can fly. They can shoot fire from their eyes. They can

because it was dumb dumb dumb

No, I am not kidding. I get the Regime Superman outfit since he's a villain, but I cannot stand the ridiculous armor of his default outfit. I've always hated the idea of Superman in armor because it makes him look far too martial.
Man of Steele's costume is far from perfect, and I agree there's a ton of elements that

Honestly, Zod is cool and all but I'm way more excited by the fact that I'll FINALLY have access to a decent looking superman costume. Now maybe I can actually play him in all his S-tier glory without being sad about the design.

Ok, I have a question for people who thought Zod's motivation made sense and/or that it made him sympathetic somehow.
SPOILERS, obviously follow:

WHY do the kryptonians want to terraform earth so badly!?! These people are literal gods on this world. They can fly. They can tear steel like paper. They can set things
