...you know, I'm really starting to think more and more that this console generation just isn't worth it.

No disrespect to the guy....because it's mad awesome that he's been able to accomplish all of this basically by himself.....but while his modeling and rendering skills are out of this world fantastic, I can definitely tell he's not an animator by trade.
Seriously....he should put some thought behind finding someone,…
In my head, writing a character as racially neutral is more of a road rather than a destination. IE, the goal is not to create a racially neutral character, but rather allow the character to form in a racially neutral way.
The point I'm driving at is really just this: if race winds up being a defining trait of a…
Personally, I think it's a good rule of thumb to write a character racially neutral unless the needs of the plot demand otherwise (IE, race is a component of the story and/or the timeperiod requires forethought). The problem with writing a character with a specific race in mind is that the racial component can start…
While it might seem on the surface like each broadcaster is biased towards a particular party, the truth is that all the news outlets in the United States *true* bias is towards their own corporate shareholders who are also the primary doners to both the republican and democratic party.
I want to stress this point…
OMG....I was busy messing around with realflow all day a couple weeks ago and after hours of rendering I wasn't able to get anything nearly this good looking.
Goddamn....the math wizards behind this stuff amaze me as much as they disgust me.
Oh dear god, I love you all so much. I thought for sure I was alone in doing this. So many hours wasted, and then as I proofread my reply....I realize how much it just isn't worth it.
From what I just read from a quick google search not only is it not necessary, it actually counts *against* brokering peace surprisingly enough....but if you pass enough additional checks you can broker peace anyway (which I did).
Wait, are you sure rewriting the geth is necessary to broker peace with the quarians?
I'm not surprised by the closure, but I *am* surprised about how it's going down.
I figured Disney would officially shut down Lucasarts whilst at the same time forming a new internal development team from the former staff to better integrate them into Disney's management style and shake things up. After that I figured…
I'm sorry, but If Luke does not have a full on Jedi Master beard in this movie I will be *extremely* irate.
-VI? You mean the catalyst? Well I know you're certainly not trying to call that foreshadowing since you don't even know what the hell the catalyst is until the last five minutes of the game.
-On synthesis:
LOL. Oh I see, I guess you're one of those people who read 1984 and thought it was a how-to manual.
Here's a hint:…
"The Whole game was the ending" has got to be hands down the most headscratching defensive of ME3 I've heard. What does that even mean?!?
If Mass Effect 3 in its entirety is "the end", that would make Mass Effect 1 and 2 the "begining" and "middle" respectively, right?
Strange, then that they both seemed to have a…
Oh please, I can't wait to hear what you actually think constitutes foreshadowing. This should be funny.
-Synthesis completely rejects the theme of unity with diversity and replaces it with homogeneity. Go listen to Saren's speech at the end of Mass Effect one and tell me how this isn't a complete betrayal of what is…
Actually, it goes to show that I was right all along.
It's an interesting theory, and I even mused slightly that one could interpret this as an afterlife of sorts for shepard. Afterall, who else would he want to be with in heaven?
That's because in order to have a "real" and/or worthy conclusion to his story, he sort of *has* to be alive.
First of all, you forgot the Huntsman from Team Fortress 2. For shame.
Played it, beat it, still have more to do afterward....it's amazing and I am so so glad I picked it up.
