Anybody that describes this as "unfilmable" or doesn't think this will work only thinks that because they're not familiar with Myst Lore.

@Marcem: If you're talking about their left 4 dead and team fortress stuff then yes, I've seen their trailers. And trust me, they're not rendered "in game". They're rendered on workstation cards with in game assets sometimes...but they're not rendered in game. Not even crytek can make motion blur and lighting…

It is my goal in life and my career to one day have the pleasure and privilege of working at Blur studios. I'm currently working in the industry now...but my demo reel has a long way to go before I'm confident enough to even talk to someone there...

@Marcem: Blizzard's cinematics department is definitely right behind blur, no doubt about it.

sigh...this is what I've been talking about. All you people who laughably thought they were already milking the franchise...how do you feel now?

@yayowars: yeah, you obviously haven't been paying much attention. Check out what the war for cybertron pre-order codes went for. This has been going on forever. People in general are just stupid.

@pigsdofly: Maybe, but for the millionth time; Aliens was as much inspired by Robert Heinlein's "Starship Troopers" as Halo was inspired by it.

Honestly, I think it's a TON better than the last release. The other actors in it are much much better, and I get the feeling of a "Calm before the storm" from this trailer. It's about to hit the fan in the next one, guarantee it.

Wow...the combat looks more like god of war with lightsabers than ever...

Very nice. I hope the Halo Reach trailer comes out half as awesome.

@Brisky: I'm a huge fanatic of the lore...but this was just boring I thought. It was like an early Red versus Blue episode....without the wit or charm.

Yikes...I thought the last one with carter was kind of weak...man...whoever is in charge of this in their marketing department really dropped the ball.
