@martinbutt: I kind of agree. I use GoDaddy, and while I don't hate them, I think some of their business practices are shady with regard to renewals. They do some sneaky things to upsell you and if you're not paying attention you'll end up paying for extras you don't need or want.

@salsafresca: See I don't really get the need for something like this. I'm online on a computer on average 10 hours a day...don't use any virus software...no windows defender nonsense...and never got a virus. What exactly is WOT protecting you from?

@Col. Mustard: Why do you need to? The game itself will always be preserved in ROM form. Why do we need to preserve the cartridge?

I heard a few beers a day can decrease your chances of catching a cold by 85%. So far, my experiment is proving this statement true.

I love the concept of Sous Vide cooking, but the whole botulism thing makes me nervous.

A FoodSaver vacuum sealer is one of the best purchases I ever made. I run everything through that thing.

I like the idea behind it, but I rarely use the Google home page to search so I don't see myself getting much use out of it.

Meh...I think you could that in MediaMonkey back in the 90's.

@Akio Morita: I'm in U.S. and need to be signed in to my Google account for the instant feature. Unless I'm missing something.

@koali: Couldn't agree more, and it was exactly what I was thinking as I was reading. Or actually skimming it as I went on.

Never really got the Wave thing...but admittedly I didn't use it much. I remember when I tried it for the first time I even said it wouldn't last.

@falafelfro: I agree, that Linkable page is much nicer. When I first read this Lifehacker post, that's exactly how I was hoping fur.ly handled it.

Not sure if it's my theme (all black background), but on my Bold the number is really difficult to read. Barely even readable in fact.

@vision6461: In a period of hyper inflation, which we will likely be seeing within the next 10 years, that all goes out the window.

@vision6461: For me it's more than just the standard inflation. It's the hyper inflation we will likely be seeing in the next 10 years when all of this money printing catches up to us.

While this is still good advice, the calculation is essentially useless since by the time most of us retire the dollar will likely be worth a very small fraction of what it is now. I feel sorry for anyone expecting to retire in the next 10-20 years (which includes myself).

@Lyon: I don't really consider RTM a note taking tool. It's more of a task manager.

Yeah I don't get this at all. So you get an extra disc sent to you, but one of them is some crappy movie that they only have in one shipping facility. And how do you know if a movie fits that criteria?
