“Shinichiro” is the accepted spelling in Hepburn romaji. If we wanted to be more accurate and include the long “o” at the end, “Shinichirou” would be better, since Nihon-shiki Romaji is a closer match to how it would be written in hiragana and it’s also MUCH more commonly used than Kunrei-shiki.

“I mean, one, I find it incredibly joyful. I think that with any of the movies that anyone grows up on, you want to see the DeLorean hit 88 again. You want to see the lightsaber power on again and you want to see Ecto-1 again.”

Looked bad from the trailers.

The overall production quality — on many different levels — of this Apple TV+ series is extremely excellent.

Wow, you’re really doubling down on murder here, huh? And trying to make it look like everyone else is crazy?

Comitting wanton murders and violent crimes A-OK

Even crazier is that they left all of the violence in these remasters.  You can murder people in these games!

I’m not sure you’re in a minority.  I’m certainly done with Zombies as a trope.  I’m a little bit more likely to accept Zombies in the Terry Pratchett sense; just regular people who refused to die.  Reg Shoe Represent!

People have given MS a lot of shit for their lack of exclusives over the years (partially rightly so), but this is a big reason why; the big multiplat titles might not be system-sellers in the conventional sense, but a lot of gamers buy new consoles with playing them in mind, which is why MS has invested so much in

Tobey Maguire when asked if he’s in the new Spider-Man movie: “I dunno. We’ll see.”

GenX have been busily raising a generation we hope is much better than the Millennials who were largely raised by Boomers.

We were raised by the Silent Generation. Generations generally skip. Greatest raised Boomers raised Millennials. Silent raised Gen X raised Gen Z.

Eh, I think the fact that the filmmakers largely ignored the prospect of exploring a bigger galaxy — as opposed to endless underpopulated frontier worlds — limited the dramatic and conceptual range of the storylines.

I think the lukewarm response to TRoS and the success of The Mandalorian forced Lucasfilm to reconsider its approach to the Star Wars franchise. It seems like every movie project was designed to capitalize on nostalgia for the OT and that ended up backfiring spectacularly because it only appealed to a narrowing

We’ve had 50 Batmans (Batmen?) They should just recast Black Panther, recast Shuri and carry on. We’d adapt and be fine. I loved Chadwick Boseman btw, but this is the way...

Someone else who read that book! I thought mom and I were the only ones!

Not an adaption of the Robert McCammon novel then.

Who would have thought that the 62 year old who regularly portrays bad guys is the one on the right side of the fence whereas the 27 year old who portrays a supposed genius lacks common sense

I’m feeling real nervous about Wakanda Forever for a number of reasons
