With a name like Rise of Skywalker means it’s a porn right?  Right?

There was no possible way to make these movies appeal to a large, large portion of fans. Nothing will ever please them, other than bitching about Star Wars. I didn’t particularly like TLJ all that much. It had great moments but way too many flaws. But Jesus, some people react as if Rian Johnson murdered their families

Speaking of answers, though, in the same interview Ridley did confirm The Rise of Skywalker would put the rest the question of Rey’s lineage. “[Director J.J. Abrams’ did say the question is answered,” Ridley said. “So at the end of the film, you do know what the dealio is.”

one person can’t dictate how a film is supposed to be

“you do know what the dealio is”

there’s not even a defined “they”<<< You kid, but this is maybe the best unpacking of the problem I have read.

There is no one driving the bus because there is no bus. There is no road. They are lost in the woods, and there’s not even a defined “they”.

Shazam! was directed by David F. Sandberg, previously known for directing the horror films Lights Out and Annabelle: Creation. Shazam! was probably the lightest film of the entire DCEU.

Well, since Sebastian is a crab, I’m sure that someone would complain if they cast a lobster as well. /pedant

You’re hardly old-fashioned, as “old-fashion” values include the “old enough to bleed, old enough to breed” saying. The youngest Disney princess is Snow White at age 14, and that’s as old-fashioned as you can get with the princess lineup.

However, with our current social values, and Hollywood’s love of “Dawson

Why though? Not only is the bikini sort of the iconic Ariel look, it is pretty much how mermaids are always depicted (when they are not being depicted at topless, which makes more sense for a mermaid).

You mean the rebellion that’s all on board the Falcon, bizarrely laughing and giving each other high-fives despite most of their friends having just been killed?

No way no how she can do this?

Because... and I appreciate that your narrow views here don’t have room for this... I don’t dislike her... I just don’t like her for this role and am open to being proven wrong. Proven by her actual performance, not someone who is so quick to jump to conclusions about someone’s beliefs.

thats the only move she has.

Give it a year, and the next study will say that more sitting is better for you.

Everything you just said is literally about making your life easier/more convenient. I would call that being lazy.

I’ve never understood the allure of connecting all your appliances to the internet. Do you really need a wi-fi enabled light bulb? Are you so lazy as to not be able to get off your chair to turn the light on/off? You know what will never get a virus? My dumb light bulbs that turn on and off with a physical switch.

TLDR:
