I’m always shocked and appalled when people share the stories of going to the ER and the bills they get at the end - sometimes it even affects how I think here, and I consider put off going to a see a doctor... But then I do go, and there is no bill, and I remember that I don’t live in the USA.

So after May’s awful attempt at a speech last night, where she positioned MPs as traitors, a petition to revoke Article 50 has been signed by more than two million people in only 24 hours. If this continues it could manage to beat the record set by the Trump petition by the march on Saturday, and while the petition is

This is so funny to me as a (North American) Finn. There’s a phrase ‘torilla tavataan’ which is a gently mocking in-joke about how Finns are obsessed with any international attention, mostly because it doesn’t happen that often. For real. My mummo and äiti can tell me off the dome which famous people are Finnish, that

I like your style, but a bullet in the head would be cheaper and more efficient.

Blah blah blah... All I noticed was the Finns wrote complete sentences using proper grammar and punctuation on a social media platform. Can we include their evil socialized education in the discussion, too?

Aye, but it’s not just the subsidization  -- it’s also the controlling of prices, limitations on profits and different approaches to quality control, training and malpractice. There’s so much more about the European health care systems than subsidization and raw costs per procedure or service.

She followed up with: “Health care costs are too high that is true but comparing us to Finland is ridiculous. Ask them how their health care is. You won’t like the answer.”

But but but...if we had some commie pinko European socialist healthcare here we’d have to wait MONTHS just to get in to see a doctor!

Respectfully, one of the most important things we can do to move the conversation is to stop conceding this point. Whether or not it is a “right” does not end the conversation, because even if it is (and this is not nearly as settled as the NRA pretends it is), there’s no right that’s not subject to restrictions.

Me too. People are often shocked to hear that. They assume as a hunter I want ALL THE GUNS. No. Not only do I not want all the guns I also don’t want Joe Schmo to be able to walk into Walmart and just buy one. And I particularly don’t want Joe Schmo to just be able to buy the kind that can slaughter people.

As a former TV writer, I feel like it needs to be said that many (if not most) shows are written like this. What often happens is a few of the originating writers actually DO have their idea “who the final 5 will be”, but they play it close to the chest and don’t put it in any kind of show bible (maybe a few of those

“There are 12 models. And they have a plan.”

Why glorify it then? It’s in the headline to bring in clicks.  It in no way adds to the story.

Starbuck died on the way back to her home planet.

you might be the softest person on earth lmao

and then what, Patrick Duffy turns around in the shower, revealing it was all a terrible dream? C’mon.

I watched this episode with my dad. Neither of us had read the books, even though we’re both pretty big scifi and fantasy fans. But we were really enjoying the show up to that point.

First: two people living off of six thousand dollars a month is considerably less than most of the public sector jobs you cited. Especially considering that the amount they make from Patreon is before taxes and don’t include benefits of any kind.

My name is Ezra Miller, and I am the the most desperate man alive. To the outside world I was the Flash one time and I’ve been in those Fantastic Beasts movies, but secretly with the help of my friends at Warner Bros. I’m trying to get a solo movie made. I co-starred in the Justice League movie but in doing so seem
