They settled? Who saw that coming?
They settled? Who saw that coming?
“See, the reason it could work is: there is money to be made.”
The 90s really are back. Remember how rad it was selling cartoon versions of R rated violence back in the day? Robocop, king of the squibs and “Bitches leave” had a cartoon.
How the fuck do people in charge of money continue to see Goyer’s CV and think “yep, that’s a guy you can trust with millions”?
HOW?
“So much needs to be added to fill out these episodes, which feel so much longer than the hour they generally run.”
I didn’t know that Jared Harris was Richard Harris’ son. I’m afraid I’ll always seem him as that evil scamp from Fringe. Can’t see John Noble as anyone but Walter Bishop either. That show was silly but I loved it.
TV audiences would, understandably, have a hard time getting invested in a show where the entire cast and conflict changes every episode.
My favorite part of this super weird comment is the implication that Americans never threaten to sue for frivolous/selfish reasons. The American legal system - famous for its lack of self-serving absurdity!
We could expose players to iterative design in video games again, but try it a little differently this time.
Alien Nation’s worldbuilding and storytelling was really good stuff. Towards the end it got..meh, but it addressed what would likely happen IRL if non-aggressive aliens showed up.
Are .... are you serious? You can’t be, or you actively ignored or didn’t seek out voices of fans of the original - and superior - 80s version.
As much as I want to avoid movie theaters, I think I’ll make an exception for this and “Dune”. I saw “Shang-Chi...” in the theater and it was worth it, so definitely for these two movies.
Picard deserves so much better than this.
How my parents paid off their student loans in the 70's: “If I keep working full-time and you get a part-time job, and we set aside 30% of our paychecks for a couple months, we’ll be paid off before we turn 23.”
throw Robotech out of your mind and watch it in the original Macross
Hey, did you know that there is already an animated version of Cowboy Beebop? I found it while looking this up on IMDB. Its really old though.
This is a problem.
I’m not being disingenuous at all. Homophobia is bred from “gay panic,” a prejudice-based fear that gay people would try to rape them or their children. It was even somehow a legal defense until just recently in most states (in some I’m pretty sure it still is). These idiots are literally scared of gay people, and…
Jeff Bezos is such a hypocrite. During the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing in 2019, about lunar lander contracting at the JFK Library during the JFK Space Summit Jeff Bezos spoke about how old space industry slowed down the Apollo porject by suing down during the NASA procurement process (implying that…
I’d riot if Skies of Arcadia wasn’t on here, but I’d argue that Grandia 2 deserves a spot on here as well!
