I was going to play devil's advocate by saying that maybe during an adrenaline rush from being attacked, you don't care what weapon you use. All you care is about protecting yourself. Then I looked at the video again. At about 22 sec. into it you see the cyclist come AT the dude with the lock while yelling at him.

No pretty but distinctive without being ugly. 9-3 is looking hopeful.

If this thing gets >29 MPG in wagon form, I may eat my hat and buy a Ford again.

@Tony Agee: Funny how this modern car only weighs 100 lbs less than a Crown Vic.

Looks hot to me. The boys at TTAC don't seem to agree. Kinda looks like a more modern CTS interior. Actually, it looks like what the 2010 Mazda3 should have looked like, inside and out. Don't get me wrong. I'm a huge Mazda fanboy, but the 3 dash doesn't do it for me. More cluttered than this. Its steering wheel

@hwyengr: Yeah, I don't know what people are complaining about here. Jay was so corny and not funny. Piston head or not, I'm glad Conan took over. Unfortunately, Jay's not funny humor is infesting 5 hours of prime time now.

@boot shrew: Still rocking the twin i beam suspension!

What about those of us who vowed to never root for the blue oval boys again??? Burn me once shame on you. Burn me twice... So conflicted. Those Euro models are so tempting though.

@HurtsSoGood: Well, blame the demographics Ford was going for as to why he car sucked so hard. The '96 Sable was criticized for having to firm of a ride for soft American butts. That's probably why the 2000 was so wallowy. The Duratec V6 was also pretty darn advanced in '96 but most buyers could car less about 200

@skaycog: Unbelievable that she did this? Or unbelievable that she did this and was totally in the wrong? The car in the white had been waiting, and notice that all the parked cars are facing the right.

Around here, there's a white lifted Hummer H2 with ~30" rims and 40 series tires. Somehow, it looks like there's a wheelchair lift for the driver. So wrong.

It'd be hotter if Mazda just used the rest of world Mazda6! Wagon and all.

Awwww, I was wondering why the site was not getting updated very often. I could tell the site was not a typical media run site, but there was some great articles on there. We hardly knew ya!

I call shenanigans. Obviously, the real engineers have quit. That torque plot must have been extrapolated from 4 data points. Maybe 3 for the HP curve...I mean line.

Mine drove a gutless wallowing Corolla. I taught her to drive stick. We got married. Now she has a 6 speed MX-5 PRHT. All in that order.

@wookie1901: I can't help but look at it and think Cavalier.
