I'm not sure that its that costly to get into a muscle car. I just picked up a nice 68' mustang coupe with a built 351W for $13000 here in Ontario Canada. Found out later that the guy i got it off paid $5000 in takes 14 months before. Its an insane hoon mobile. the only thing that's not affordable about it is the Fuel.

Are you compairing a 43 year old car that pre dates man landing on the moon to a 2012 VW? Your VW is more techomlogicaly advanced than the saturn 5 rocket that took men to the moon 1969. The mustang is cooler than the VW by a contry mile and trust me  I love both of them.
