I know this is Jalopnik and all, and it's cool here to like ugly cars, beaters, etc., but I'm still kinda stunned how many people on here think hatches genuinely look better than sedans. I'm not arguing utility, since obviously many cars offer more than sedans (hatches, wagons, crossovers, etc.), but the entire point

As it is currently, Destiny just doesn't feel like a finished game. That's kinda okay, and kinda not. I bought it because I was interested in playing it, and I wanted to give the game some early support (since without it, it's more likely to fail), in the hopes that it will morph into something greater, like MMOs tend

I guess the point people were making is that the ATS is comparably priced to all these models, but is "outperformed" by all of them. And while the A3 is certainly not a performance car, it also outperforms the ATS (despite not having as powerful of an engine).

Seconded. I have nowhere near the money to consider this (dropping $30k + all at once, then doing up keep on this car), but certainly if I had the money, I'd consider it.

Yeah, this series has reached Final Fantasy VI status for me, meaning I'll buy every iteration that comes out.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. It's weird, I actually like all the badges, especially the M-class ones. Badge-less looks naked to me. But I guess that's the point.

Yeah, someone was saying something similar on a previous Kotaku post, I think...I definitely think that's an awesome idea, since I've always love The Karp/Gyarados.

I get what you're saying, but personally I thought X and Y's 3 main legendaries were really cool (Yveltal especially). But yeah, these primals look pretty bad ass.

Yeah, that makes sense. I just assumed the people doing it due to insecurity were trying to look cool for the crowd that only cares about cars as status symbols, and not actually BMW enthusiasts. I'm not a huge BMW guy (although I love the M class stuff, and the i8), and they all look mostly the same to me, so I

This was always what I assumed, although from all the replies it looks like there are plenty of other reasons as well.

Serious question, not completely un-related (but not directly-related):

Pretty solid list, although Robert Downey Jr. should be a spokesperson for Audi, given that Tony Stark has been pimping R8s and the like in the Iron Man movies. I would think DiCaprio or George Clooney would work well for the Tesla, given their environmental concerns (and given that Clooney owns a Tesla).

I think the reason it's so hyped is because it's one of the first of its kind. Bungie is one of the first companies trying to do an MMO in an FPS, and it's not subscription-based. That alone was worth the purchase for me.

No, I agree. I worded my reply ambiguously, but I mostly meant that the AMG fans probably still cared about Mercedes' announcement, despite Apple "ruining" it.

hahahahaha true!

My comment was more in response to Apple "ruining" Mercedes' announcement (in that I don't necessarily think it did) than it was saying that Mercedes enthusiasts don't buy iPhones. Probably could've been worded more precisely.

From that list, I'm partial to the Jag; I've just never liked Porsches, and that would be its only real competition for me.

No, but if she's singing a song with that word in it (that someone who "has the right to say it" wrote), I feel like that's not unfair. I know that's not a super popular opinion, but if you're essentially saying that white people literally can't sing along to a song, that's kinda racist too, at least in a subtle way.

Perhaps I should've qualified my statement a little better (I should've said that for those interested in this car, the iPhone launch probably doesn't overshadow it), but I don't think I'm wrong. I think there's certainly some overlap, but I highly doubt that if you're considering this car as a purchase, you would

Yeah, mine too. I would imagine this isn't too widespread, given that this is the first I've heard of it.
