Xboner here. I haven't played Titanfall much recently, but when I did pick up the controller to play last week, I had no trouble instantly dropping into a few games. I think it depends on your choice of system, and the mode you play (I would imagine Campaign is always going to be more sparse).

Yup, agreed. This is one of the things Dark Souls does best, in my opinion. Whatever your thoughts are on the rest of the game (or games), generally speaking, if you can see a castle/tower/cliff/etc. on the horizon, you can get to it. It makes the world feel more organic and substantial, and gives you a more intense

While I love his work, there's some really stellar stuff in Mass Effect as well. I'd rather 343 picked him up, and let him keep working on Halo. With that being said, few games wouldn't be improved by Marty's work.

I think he's just saying that the guy is an anonymous troll, and has a burner because he doesn't have anything of real value to add to the discussion.

How come?

Oh yeah, I see that! Weird.

Yeah, I've only played D3 on console, so a lot of tweaking has already been done to the game on my side. With that being said, the Rifts, Crusader, and new loot all sound pretty damn cool, so I kinda wanna pick RoS up, even though I'm bored of D3.

Is it? That's certainly possible, although I hadn't heard that. It's also their "cow level" for this game, which has been an in-joke since Diablo I.

Makes me wanna pick up Reaper of Souls...

It's called Whimsyshire, it's a secret level in the game that you can only get into after you've crafted an item using 3 other hard-to-find items found throughout the game (I'm trying to be vague for those who haven't played it). Clouds are treasure chests there, and there are killer unicorns that explode in blood, as

Sox fan here. And yes, Thomas was and is my favorite baseball player ever. Despite not owning one autograph of his.

I kind of feel the same way. As an adventure game it's pretty good (although the platforming can be insanely cheap). But it doesn't feel like a Zelda game in the way we normally look at them. The dungeons have no real puzzles, the overworld is more of an RPG-style overworld (no direct interactions), and the game

I can't speak to it in DSII, but that certainly happened to me in Dark Souls, which is one of the reasons I quit PVP.

That post was 50% a test to see how quickly someone would come on to hate on Ryse. Congrats.

It'd be nice if someone bought the rights to the Ryse sequel, so that that could see the light of day as well...

If MS did this, there'd be a shitstorm. Hopefully people will pressure Sony into streaming PS1/2 games like they claimed; too much good stuff out there.

As far as I've seen, EA has announced this service for a limited selection of their slightly outdated games, correct? The benefit to them is that people who might not buy Madden 15 for $60 may be willing to pony up the $5/mo. to "rent" an older version.

For sure, but it would be interesting to see a breakdown of numbers. The Destiny Beta was available on PS3/4 and XB360/1, whereas the Titanfall beta was available on PC and XB1 (if I'm not mistaken).

At this point, that's nothing but conjecture, and certainly nothing EA has said would imply that that's there plan. If anything, Sony is against this because it creates more competition for them, within their own consoles (i.e. people subscribing to EA's service instead of Sony's because they'd rather play slightly

Yeah, Titanfall is the only one I can think of.
