Javik was awesome; I definitely felt like he was pretty integral to the overall storyline (in that he was a Prothean), and thought he was a great character overall. But yeah, I get what you mean. I personally didn't even play Dragon Age 2, as I missed it when it came out, and by the time I considered purchasing it,

Your entire post is missing the following: "IMHO." Literally almost everything you said is opinion. Admittedly, there aren't a million gameplay modes, so that is definitely one they could add-on to (although that's not an issue unique to Titanfall). However, there are 15 maps, which by almost any metric, is more than

Speaking as someone who has plenty of other things to spend money on, I can't justify the cost of a new PC, much less one that costs upwards of $2000. The consoles serve their purpose in this respect. I also have the best plasma television released two years ago, and I'm not going to be purchasing a 4k TV any time

I would go so far as to say that there aren't many situations in general that wouldn't benefit from more women!

That's pretty nice work. In keeping with the theme, the mod should also have the highest possible stability, absorb 100% of damage (physical and probably magical as well, although I don't know how the comics handled Cap's shield being hit by magic), and be unbreakable (or do 900+ durability, ala Havel's weapon.)

It depends on what he means by opening scene. Terra's theme comes on (if I remember correctly) when the 3 are walking through the world map (I think credits scroll at this point, as well?).

I normally don't believe in typing this, but: Lol. You must be trolling.

Agreed. I didn't mean to imply SoM wasn't awesome outside the music (it was); just that the music played a big part. But yeah, the atmosphere is on point for sure.

Yeah, I do too; I used to troll OC Remix for good SoM stuff.

I can't speak for anyone else, but 50% of Secret of Mana's draw for me was the phenomenal soundtrack (one of the all-time greats, in my opinion). No matter how good this game's gameplay is, if it doesn't have the killer sounds of Mana, it'll still be no substitution.

Yeah I fell once at the beginning of No Man's Wharf (the little hole to the left of the planks to the first enemies on the left), and promptly turned the brightness up a couple notches. Atmosphere is great, but seriously, falling into watery holes of doom doesn't amuse me.

The falls being 2nd was my takeaway, as well. Falling into a pit is the one thing in the game that really irritates me, because they recommend you keep your darkness settings low enough that half the time you can't see the damn holes. Carry a torch in my off-hand? My ass.

I wanted Titanfall more, so I bought it first, but it was definitely a tough decision. I'm looking forward to picking this one up pretty soon, because it looks great.

It's quite a jump in logic to say that a console that's been out less than a year, and is selling better than its successful predecessor, is a failure. By your metric, I would assume the Wii U is currently also "failed," and the 3DS failed a few years back (which is probably news to Nintendo). Hell, the PS3 was a

This is probably the only videogame-related thing that I'd personally put on-par with a professional athlete's "big play." The technical mastery displayed by Daigo on those parries is just sick.

Yeah, you're probably right about that. The campaign really made no sense as such, so calling it that created unnecessary expectations.

While I wouldn't mind a better campaign either, this is far from the first game to be MP only, and I don't see any problem there.

Yeah I dunno, maybe they were just using default settings and got lazy? You're right that it's weird.

Luckily there are contrast settings both in game and on your television, if you'd like to adjust them (just like there would be in the PC version).

I used to think the same way, and then I tried $80+ earphones and headphones. After that, I couldn't deal with the cheaper stuff. The Monoprice ones might be worth a try, though. I doubt they'll perform on the level of the $100+ stuff, but who knows.
