I'm aware of their history in Japan, and agree that they will very likely fail to gain any traction in Japan again this gen. However, I would assume that someone at MS is aware of that as well, and the company as a whole probably just doesn't care. As we both have already stated, a win here would be huge (even if extre

I just came here to agree with you that Reloaded was a pretty fun movie. While not as tightly made as the first movie, it still expanded on the original's mythology in a (mostly) satisfying way.

So what you're saying, again, is "I don't like what the Xbox is doing, prefer Sony, and want my DRM in the form of Steam."

I think it's more that they'd still like to break into Japan's market. I don't really see it as them "losing" the market, because Japan is a market that's completely dominated by their domestic products. Sony and Nintendo are probably ALWAYS going to have a stranglehold on gaming there, and so for MS to even get some

All jokes aside, it does stuff none of the other consoles do, so regardless of whether you find value in it (or in the things it does), it's probably fair to call it innovative.

I think that's perfectly realistic; Titanfall on the Xbox One doesn't look amazing (although the textures are pretty sharp), so it's not outside of the realm of possibility that MS (rightfully) thinks people will have a lot of trouble figuring out what makes the XB1 version better.

Yeah, it's funny, I was just thinking recently how great it is that the age of the internet has given us so many options in terms of getting a game at a price we're willing to pay. You can literally choose almost any game, and check a couple websites (Kotaku and Cheapassgamer usually work), and within a month or two,

I'm okay with it if we're playing something objective-based (CTF or Hardpoint Domination).

Yeah I'm curious about this too; is it for the reason stated by Angel Ham?

I just think it's funny that there are people hunched over their keyboards on the internet that actually care about this. I've played on PC and most mainstream consoles in the last...30 years or so, and not once did I feel like gloating about my choice of platform. It's kind of pitiful. I get that a lot of it came out

Agreed, although I would give a shared vote to Piccolo, as well.

But he paid for it, so that person already received compensation in the form of his paycheck. I get that it's not a fun thing to watch if you put your heart and soul into making that car, but it's his car to use as he pleases, whether that be driving it, having sex in it, or...blowing it up, I guess...

So he should instead put his time, money, and energy into making music that he gives away for free, and then he should get ANOTHER job to actually put food on his table? That seems a little counter-intuitive, to me.

Calle 13 is actually a pretty cool duo; they're not your typically "rappers" (although they do a hybrid of hip-hop and reggaeton, so I'm not sure rapper is completely accurate), and tend to be more political than you'd think. Front man Rene seems like a decent dude.

The Wii U was released a full year before the other two consoles, so it would be more fair to wait until this November, and compare the first-year releases for all 3.

I dunno, I don't have a problem with this, as long as the game gives me the option NOT to use a gun. Assassin's Creed does this pretty well (and it's the same studio, so I have hopes); I typically get rid of enemies by other methods, but resort to the gun if I'm lazy or want a change of pace.

I'm really disappointed that this game isn't (currently) coming to the XB1 and PS4; Dark Souls was, in my opinion far and away one of the best looking games last gen (ignoring framerate issues) due to From's amazing visual design. Just think about what they could do with a more powerful console!

I'd make fun of you (okay, no I wouldn't, really), but if they decide to release DS2 for the XB1/PS4, I'll buy it for that as well as for the Xbox 360 (which is a day 1 purchase for me).

I haven't been paying too much attention, but isn't the XB1 one of the quickest-selling consoles of all time (right behind the PS4)? If so, I wouldn't really call the XB1 "set back," per se.

I'm not going to pretend to have any idea, but it's being developed by a different team than the XB1 and PC versions, so it's certainly possible that there will be slight tweaks to the game. I would also be a little more hesitant to purchase that version because I can't imagine that they'll be able to get it to a high
