No it looks worse. They turned interesting character designs and aesthetics into cookie cutter Japanese ANIME. Gone are the lovely semi-relastic textures that reminded me of Final Fantasy 12.

Sure the textures are sharper and they added some polygons, but that doesn’t mean it looks better.

Well on that note I can agree with that but Meta fucker as you put it as been Squares thing for a while now. Its metacritic and gamerankings is very high. When the game came out it had rave reviews. Its included in a lot of top 10 RPGS of all time.  What are you smoking?

None of you can say that. Here is the thing that people are missing. The ending of this game is crazy and unique and its not the original FF7. WE know that much, what we dont know is how far they will take it. All of this could literately just be a more interesting way of filling out what happened in the original.

It is that, but you have zero idea where the story is going to go. None of us do. The ending could just be a setup. Shows do this all the time. For all we know the events of the next games end up playing out the same as they did in the original but in slightly more interesting ways.
