Ciri is fragile though. In the books she is about 10 years old at this point. She doesn’t become the badass until years later when Geralt runs into her several more times and due to “Desinty” he decides he should train her. It’s a beautiful parental love story and the major backbone of the books.

Yea this is a super young Ciri when she first meets Geralt. She is young and vulnerable, scared refugee. She is 10 years old in the book but probably more like 14 here due to legal reasons. This is before Geralt trains her and she gets stronger, though not as strong as she is in the games.
