No arguing with your anger a all. Ted Talks had an awesome talk on emotional correctness. The idea that someone can say the right the thing but have the wrong intention or conversely say the wrong thing but have their heart in the right place. Personally, wouldn't have known wheel-chair bound was offensive. It's good

Is it just me, or is her expression way more engaging than the other model's? Usually I flip over fashion ads without a glance because it's the same kind of faces/expressions, but hers is very evocative.

Females do sexually abuse other females. A family member was sexually assaulted by a female. She has had to live with the "it wasn't real rape" comments her whole life...from women. It's disgusting.

She used the venue because, like it or not, this is how we communicate with one another now. This is what you have to do to make people listen. I can't imagine the amount of courage it took her to do this. I also can't imagine the stomach-dropping feeling her abuser must have had when she heard her on the other end of

I think something like this should be a federal decision, not a state one. That way, everyone is treated fairly across the country.

I see some commenters feel it was immoral of her to tape the conversation.

Cardosa was likely abused herself as a child. Fucking horrible situation, and likely even worse than we think.

This is a long, long way from when I was in university where known rapists' names were written on the back wall and door of the student union upstairs women's bathroom.

I have half a shepard's pie and a whole block of white cheddar at home that I've been fantasizing about all day.

I just typed "Is my son" into Google and the first queries to pop up were "gay" and "autistic." Typing in "daughter" = "gay" and "bipolar." Apparently parents are very concerned about their children being gay :-/

No one apparently told this to my mother. She was very smart growing up (still is for that matter) but my grandfather thought that college was an awfully expensive way to find a husband, so she never went to college until she was in her 40s. She was determined that the same thing would not happen to her three

"I like long poops on the toilet, poops so long they linger in the bathroom air, because I never lighted a match, for hours afterward, and Pina Coladas, and watching other people get caught in the rain." Call me ladies.

Nope. I see your "Asian Male" and trump you a "Black Female" lol.
But seriously, the level of crazy, freakish, sociopaths goes up in big cities.

One of my guy friends trots out a persona he refers to as "the representative" when he's dating. The representative is essentially the opposite of my friend and the whole concept strikes me as asinine. He hasn't ever been in a long term relationship though, and I partly blame/credit the representative for this.

Golden Age Of Dating, my ass. Didn't we just have an article yesterday about how "dating" doesn't even happen anymore because all anyone wants to do is "hang out" or "chill" so they can keep their options open? If this truly is said Golden Age I'm getting another cat, and calling it a life. :P

I'm assuming that, since he has a genuine partner out of it, he wasn't pretending to be someone else, rather simply changed emphasis / style on each profile.

I know this sounds weird but in my experience you should ask someone out in the 3rd email. This might sound fast and I was a little uncomfortable doing it at first but my buddy who was having success told me that and it has worked ever since. Any longer and someone is going to lose interest.
