I agree, I love these things! I can’t handle a whole bag of spicy, but the occasional infernal chip suits me perfectly.
I’m so glad I’m not the only person who’s first reaction was “We forgot Kevin!”
Playing the first Gothic I accidentally discovered an exploit while trying to cook some raw meat. The game had some pretty obtuse controls, and while trying cook my meat, I ended up somehow doubling it instead. This could be done over and over, doubling up my stack of raw meat. With very few exceptions every trader in…
Memory Sorrow and Thorn is fantastic, haven't read em in years, but it makes me so happy to see it on this list.
I've been a cook all my life. I started writing this comment to say how absurdly frustrating it can be sometimes to hear about how rough servers have it, when I can walk out at the end of a shift and hear someone say "Damn, I only made 200$ tonight" (Which is double what i've made in that length of time, and it's not…
You can't go wrong with The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents.
Mort was the first Discworld book I read as well, at right around the same age. This hurts so much right now.
I like petting frogs.
Finding a character (and eventually more than one) that clicks for you is such an important step in this genre. I started partway through the life cycle of the original DOTA , with friends who'd been playing for ages already. I can't tell you how stupid I thought the game was. Until I tried Phantom Lancer. I played…
Yup, it's all graphics based, it's actually quite the battery hog. You can usually tell an Ingress player by the battery packs carried with them.
There's a whole storyline to it, but the gameplay itself is area control with RPG elements. Artwork, historic buildings and local businesses are all points you can capture and link together. When you connect three points into a triangle, it fills it in for your team. So the lady who went to Alaska made one big…
I know ya weren't being negative, I just wanted to promote the game. And yeah, going to Alaska for it is wild, but the more you play, the more you start thinking "Hey, the next town over isn't all that far, I wonder what I could do from there?".
You can definitely play Ingress at a local level, it's quite the game. Good exercise and a great community.
That's the Bar industry in a nutshell. A place where everyone can be discriminated against. Most bars hire far more women than men, but those few men are often treated better and paid more.
But does The Grimace acknowledge the statute of limitations?
You could even say she chikun-ed out!
Hey now, it could have been a nose hair.
One of the best scares I ever got was from the REmake for Gamecube. I guess I kinda ignored the instructions to burn the zombie corpses. I thought it was kinda cool how they stuck around after you left the area. I got used to them.
I would give up a variety of body parts for as sequel to Gladius. I put hundreds and hundreds of hours into that game. So many little touches that made it special. Colour coordinating your team outfits. Being able to have a friend pick up a controller and play half your champions. Needing to craft different teams…
