What incentive is there for insurance companies to lower their rates? “But that’s how the open market works.” Tell that to the gas companies. Maybe it’s different in the US, but in Canada we have a lot of choice for gasoline and yet the price is always the same wherever you go. It’s almost as if companies don’t care…

My favorite thing about this (living in WA where there is an active outbreak) is when the schools said that non-vaccinated kids were banned from attending until there were no further reported cases at their school, and the parents of those kids complained - even though the ban was for their kids’ protection.
