Ehh, that’ll rub out.

Yep, had that in my’95 Z28. Bypassed almost immediately.
I never shut mine down, I just use sleep. I’ve done that for years. System comes up in seconds, no SSD needed. In fact, the only time it gets fully shut down is when it reboots for updates, or if i’m on vacation for a few weeks.
Sleep as Android deserves a mention. Great alarm clock, handles a 9/80 workschedule with ease (every other Friday off) and great integration with my Pebble for sleep tracking. Does smart wakeup based on how awake you seem to be, keeps track of your sleep intake and suggests bedtime...which is great for us night owls!
Based on “new math”. You know, the kind that’s incorrect.
I travel a lot, so I end up frequently in unfamiliar cities. Being able to type in whatever i’m jonesing for and get suggestions is priceless. I’ve found some fantastic restaurants this way that I would have never found before. Roberto’s river road restaurant in Sunshine, LA comes to mind. Mmmm, wish I was there now.
This is a pretty terrible deal for those who have ported into Google Voice. I did that so I can change pre paid providers and my phone will still ring as normal through Hangouts. I live in the UK now and have a UK number, but if you call my old cell number back in the states, my phone rings here in the UK (or anywhere…

He's in the PEN15 club.
I had the T28w. Great phone, even had the external QWERTY keyboard for it. The battery failed, but worked great up until then.
I'd be more concerned if his response *wasn't* like that!
Your appraisal of the law is not relevant. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you get to ignore it.
Surprise! Being connected isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Pity so many people find this out too late.
Agreed. If you're going to put in a projector, the ceiling is the only way to go. I can't see my wife saying "oh god yes, please run more cables over the floor"
". . . the whole episode should underscore that privacy on her brother's site is elusive and misunderstood."
Life is so much easier when you apply basic common sense. If you don't want something to get out, then DON'T POST IT. Furthermore, her response to the posting of the photo makes her look like an even bigger moron. And yes, it IS about privacy settings. When you post it in the public domain, it is *gasp* PUBLIC.
