I love manuals more than 99% of people, but even I think it’s probably worthless in a Hellcat. You’d probably get pretty fast at clutch swaps though.

It did have a cool tv commercial, though, if I recall. Something about it devouring another car at a stoplight.
It also has a DOHC 4.6L V8, which is close to 600 lbs by itself. Plus the driveline capable of handling that hp reliably.
Writes for Jalopnik but has no recollection of Panoz.......yeah, that’s a red flag
Agree. I bought a 2003 CTD S.O. Ram new off the lot with the 47RE. Was told it was a junk trans by everyone and anyone and that I should’ve at least held out for the 48RE. I did the band adjust, filter and fluid replacement every 30k and didn’t have any problems when I sold it at 100k, because my kids had outgrown…
Good information here, thanks. I’ve got a 44RE with 240k miles on it and it seems to be shifting strong and reliably, but I intended to drop the pan and do the filter soon. I’ll make sure I read up on band adjustments as well.
Explains how we’ve had 7 of them in the family make 250k+ on the original transmissions............
Due to lack of proper care, yes.
and they’ll be refilled within 20 minutes.
Goddamn.
Seen his and can confirm it works on an XR 500
It said he was playing games until 3am, not that he was talking 1000 words a minute in an uninterrupted stream-of-consciousness about the entire history of video games, with a 20 minute digression about Custer’s Revenge and all the unsanctioned pornographic Atari 2600 games, and then a plan to create the greatest…
“Didn’t like” meaning “had HIV”, which made it even worse.
Read about the end of Tim Richmond’s career. Dude was genuinely wronged, and NASCAR never had to pay the price for that.
Drive one in track mode.
you are correct! Watch what happens to the stock market when wages rise - the stock market goes down. The stock market is not hte economy for 98% of ppl but it is for hte very rich. The economy is demand driven for the vast majority of us and when we get a raise we go out and buy stuff. But capital sees labor making…
Hard to disagree with wording like that.
Excellent point (although repeating it 3x wasn’t necessary) (I kid, I know, Kinja).
I actually kind of expected you to show up here with this sentiment. I’m guessing by your name you actually take a Jeep on trails from time to time.
There are all sorts of interesting ways to make a competition without making it important who wins (and hence without setting up some bullshit us vs them mentality). Set them up to do a reverse slalom through cones. See who can drive the fastest around a track without losing the pizza left on the roof.
