Not many people need AWD\4WD but there are some places and situations where snow tires are required, yes, but if you want to get someplace, you aren’t getting there with 2wd (especially FWD) regardless of what tires you have. And I don’t mean off road, I mean getting to town when Mother Nature drops inches per hour of

Except the van actually has room inside. The Excursion and it’s “little” brother the Expedition never fail to amaze me on how cramped the inside is compared to the outside (and even more so compared to the GM counterparts) - especially in the front. This isn’t a Ford-vs-GM loyalty thing, I’m not a fan of GM in general

the predecessor to the epic 258 inline-six, which preceded the just as legendary 4.0-liter.”

FIFY.

OMFG. Thank you for that this morning! It’s from the Spring Collection...

Hurst bumpers. The ones that look more like truck brush guards are Roo bars.

Truth.

Well, at least they would spell “M3" correct. It’s not one of those *hard* words like “Camero” or “Bettle.” You would think that with hard words they’d put them written down some place for the spelling-challenged to reference, maybe like, ummmm, on the car? Nahhhhhhh

Nice work but I have to ask, how the hell did this stay low mileage?? $4k for it is fair in my area. If it was 2x4, it would be an entirely different story and worth only scrap price.

I swear this is the inspiration for just about anything coming out of Toyota lately...

Likewise. Brian was my favorite character of the series - partially because of the writing, but a lot of it because Paul Walker came across as a genuine nice guy. I cried.

The most obvious answer...

You need an in\lb torque wrench and a 5/16th square socket, an 8pt would work as well. Neither are commonly found in sets but can be found online or if there is still one around, at Sears. Most chain FLAPS don’t carry them, in my experience.

Likewise, this gets old, doesn’t it? We’ve had 42\44\45\46REs across Dakotas, Grand Cherokees, and Rams. That’s 2 Dakotas (one 3.9, one 5.2) 4 GCs (5.2), 4 1500s (all 5.2), and one 2500 (5.9). Steering box failures? Yup. Fenders rust away? Yup. Stupid cup holder design in the RAMs that break first time you pull it

Yes.
I used to think that his supporters were just disillusioned. 18 month later I realize they fall into one or both of two categories:

Idiots.
Sociopaths.

We used to do this with short carriage bolts and nuts on MX tires so we could run our motorcross and enduros on the frozen lakes back when I was a teen. Works ok if put the tube inside a split tube to prevent a puncture.

I watched it once. That was enough for me. I agree 100% with your sentiment, when you are having fun, who cares who wins.

Now playing

Glad he’s ok, those wrecks show the improvements in safety - the cars, the driver equipment, and track. I know someone brought up Dale’s wreck (epic), but the one that comes to mind for me at ‘dega is Rusty’s

I wish. They will respond with two words...

THIS! I can deal with moose giving me a heart attack as they sound like every bad dream ever is coming through the woods. Doesn’t help that Stephen King lives 10 miles up the road...
I can deal with black bears playing ping pong with my trash cans.
I can deal with fisher cats and grey foxes arguing at 1am, but it really
