That is a point, if he wasn’t retiring. IIRC, he would have qualified for the Indy F1 race years ago after only a short time in Montoya’s car. Couldn’t say that Montoya did as well in Gordon’s Monte.

Shared this over on FB in a group for stolen vehicles. Hopefully this gets recovered quickly:(

The Ju-87 wasn’t a beauty queen either, but damn effective.

I saved it out of the woods in NH as it sits. The hood was painted in anti-glare black paint. There’s a thread in the fat chick forum on The Samba about it - search for ‘SCCA Rally’ and it should be the first one. Has all the ‘find’ info and historical info that I gathered as well as Christian chiming in on getting

Sure can (I also posted it in the first thread about him going to Germany). Christian bought my old SCCA Rally veteran resto project. The car ran rallys from 4 days after purchase until the early 90s when it was retired to the woods of NH. I rescued it but personal issues prevented me from being able to restore it so

That’s the one in the Grundermann museum, Christian did amazing work, he set the standard for ACVW restorations with that one. I followed it on the Samba like a zombie fan does the Walking Dead. His is more correct than the one above. They have one of my old cars now in their possession, I cannot wait to see how it

Sorry to crap on your post but soooo much wrong with this car. :(

If you don’t try to go to the Grundermann museum in Hessisch Oldendorf, you have missed something that you will hate yourself for later if you are an ACVW person. They have about 70 cars and VW buses in the private museum. The VW38 #6 prototype, Kubel prototype, Porsche type 64 Berlin-Rome race car, the first Westy,

Actually, Vt (and the other two northern New England states) think LESS government is better and in the rural areas, it is regularly practiced. Go to the Great North Woods or The Northern Kingdom and try to find zoning laws, for example. While ME, NH, and VT all talk bad about each other, since I’ve lived in all 3, I

Missed this one, so I’ll add mine now.

2001 I bought a used (24k mile) Ram 1500 Quad and a 2001 Neon to replace my trusty but rusty 1993 F150 and 280k mile 1996 Neon ‘Expresso’ (yes, that name was ummmm, embarrassing but it was a damn good car that only went through consumables in the 4 years we had it) from a dealer

Next Doug, you need one of these:

Don’t forget a rear suspension lifted from 60’s pickups.

You do know that NASCAR has had EFI for several years, right?

Never knew Ron Perlman liked Sprite, took him more for a Moxie guy...

Likewise I’m short and skinny, should have thought of that before I called the PD but I’m also a dad and that skewed my thinking:)

Honestly, they didn’t even go there. I showed them the BoS for the truck dated that day, you could see where the VHS had fused to the carpet in the truck. Looking back, that could have gone differently for me but at the time, I didn’t even think that way.

Bought this at an auction for $500 because everyone hated the color:

“Maybe we’re just not really seeing much in the way of Japanese innovation anymore.”

I don’t think we’ve really ever seen ‘Japanese innovation’ as much as ‘Japanese refinement.’ The only industry I can think of where Japanese innovation towers over the other countries is on two wheels, not four.
What they do better
