Just buy it on console if you want a offline version.

Every time you see one of these deals it just reinforces the notion that you should NEVER buy consoles at launch... Poor day one adopters...

I think I've seen it for cheaper in the past, but XCOM is a fantastic game. The complete edition, original game, and expansion are all in the sale for 50% off.

I think at least half of the items on sale are DLC.

Played it, tried a "sure fire" method to trigger ending, didn't really work. Still the entire demo was creepy as fuck and i know for a fact i missed some stuff just because i was too creeped out to stick around and really explore.

It's an effort to overcome the "first mover advantage" in economics and game theory, and considering they've got it down to 50/50, it seems to be working.
