I second (third?) the food bringing suggestion. Something that can be frozen as is, and reheated really easily. If you are really feeling saintly, you could come and take her laundry off her hands. The amount of dirty laundry that babies generate is awe-inspiring.

*ooooops* the was supposed to be in response to WhatTheShihTzu

Anyone here bad at saying "no" to people? Or better yet, anyone who has overcome this problem?? I am fucking spineless when it comes to saying no to friends and family. It gets me in unpleasant situations often, but I've really gone and done it this time.

Ugh I know that feeling all too well. My boyfriend (we live together) is out of town for work a LOT, and I hardly know anyone nearby, it sucks. I have resorted to some super weird/embarrassing activities and binge watched some things on Netflix that I'd rather not speak about *cough* gossip girl out of mind-boggling

One!

CONGRATULATIONS! That is the best feeling!

It is such a scary state to be in, I'm so sorry. As everyone else said, no one can tell you the "right" thing to do. I would like to offer a little pragmatic advice though- make an appointment for an abortion now. That is not to say that I think abortion is what you should do, but it will likely be at least a week

I have no idea what experience it was based on, but my Grandmother, upon hearing that a cousin of mine was headed to UC Boulder said "Oh that place is just all sex and hot tubs!"

Oh Sandra Lee.....seeeing you makes me feel all the feelings. I will be drinking sangria like it is my last day on earth.

You shouldn't be embarrassed, I mean you won't see any white people apologizing for the Smurfs franchise...

I don't personally know anyone of any race/sex/religion/age that likes Tyler Perry's work. Obviously enough people do like it to make it profitable, as he keeps to making more of it, but I have always just ignored it out of a pure lack of interest. Having not seen any of movies, I had been under the impression that

I ruined so many pairs of keds this way, and those weird canvas slip-on shoes. Good times.

I live in Ventura County, and have not seen a single naked person "around", what a disappointment!

I live in Ventura county, and have not seen a single naked person "around"! Dang!

I am trying not to damn this guy for shitty actions that I've seen perpetrated by other men in similar scenarios, but it sure sounds like he didn't care that she was "his" when he was needed as a parent, but now she's "HIS" because she is being raised by someone else, which wasn't what he wanted.

Right?! That's what I can't get over with this case. How do you think that after terminating your rights that you are still owed a say in the child's upbringing?

Oh my God, are my eyes deceiving me, or is the bride holding fucking Flounder? I mean...even Ariel left him to hang out in the ocean while she married Prince Eric. Jesus.

I am having a hard time digesting this. He was willing to terminate his rights under the assumption that the child was under the care of her non-native mother, care that he would not have contributed to in any way, but the child growing up in an adoptive family that also has no ties to a tribal nation makes him want
