I think you got part of that backwards - '69 Camaro was 186" long (overall) and 74" wide; '69 Nova was 189" long and 72" wide. The question is, why would you want them to remake the Nova? GM doesn't have the greatest track record for resurrecting dead model names. Besides, you have to consider where the Nova fit in with the rest of Chevy's lineup from 1970 - right about where the Cruze is; meaning a new Nova would probably be a FWD

This. I was looking at 05+ Legacy GT wagons a few months ago, and ended up with an '04 XT. The Forester was built off the Impreza platform, so most of the parts interchange, and they're still pretty sleeper-ish.

Seconded! The '04's had the STI engine with the smaller WRX turbo; get one with a stick, and for around $1K (if you play your cards right), you can be making equal or more power than a stock STI, without the terrible insurance premiums!
