The coursework may have taken you longer, but it wasn't necessarily more demanding (ie objectively harder). It's just more mechanical knowledge. Humanities wasn't your priority which is fine, but it's not easier to do at a serious, top level than STEM field stuff.

What privilege glib. I worked my ass off for my English major. Read every novel, play, book, poem, analysis that I needed to in order to participate in what I thought was a proper education. The lie that us poor folks were told, how we couldn't keep up. Just to go to class with a bunch of lazy assholes who could

Not really. I'm on Paxil and Xanax (for anxiety) now. I don't have insurance at the moment, and those that cover mental health are prohibitively expensive.

I made my husband think our baby was going to be a girl, when I knew I was having a boy.

Rats, pigs, goats and sheep all did much worse than cats and dogs.

While cool in concept, being a cook myself, I find I organize my spices by usage. The more I use it, the better its location. On the top row are Oregano, Basil, Thyme, Rosemary, Marjoram, Chili Powder and Cumin. Second row might be baking/dessert type spices, Cinnamon, Ginger, and Nutmeg. Everything else is used

I won't be happy until I've seen Disney Princesses reimagining Disney Princesses.

You've forgotten Peggy Carter.

I read it many times as a kid, and am going to read it out loud to my son in the next few months. I think he'll dig it.

Honestly, I don't know how it will hold up to my adult sensibilities, but the memories I have of it are great.

This... is nothing to be ashamed of.

Green Eggs and Ham. I'm easily in the triple digits on readings, and I wouldn't be surprised if I hit four digits one day. I keep coming back to the book because my daughter refuses to go to sleep until she's heard it.

My mind went to Purple Rain, but I'm an old.

Masterpiece is right. Perfectly calibrated in story, setting and characters. Simply brilliant.

Most importantly, I love your screen name. I made that reference at work today and NO LOSER GOT IT.

Isn't that the same fake baby from American Sniper?

You should also mention how Peppa Pig is fucking HUGE. Every kid watches it. EVERY KID. As a relative to a small child I have seen every episode. The one with the heavy metal car made me laugh. I don't care what anyone says. But yeah spiders here are dangerous, and every kid watches peppa pig so this is reasonable.

I'd just like to add that Peppa Pig is brilliant. Particularly Grampa Pig and Gertrude, which is not a toy train. she's a miniature locomotive.

Yeh, I went to Mexico for business a few years ago, and one of the guys from my office kept mixing up the exchange rate (embarrassing, since it was right at 10 pesos per dollar at the time — nice and easy to calculate). He accidentally ended up tipping extraordinarily well (like 100% well) for the two weeks we were

C'mon, she's been sitting on this thing for what? Fifty years? Clearly she never wanted it published. i'm not buying that it was "lost" either.
