I'm sorry, but all of those points you listed are viewed as negatives to me. To summarize:
It took me all of ten seconds to get over the marketing nomenclature. I'm still glad that the car is an option for us consumers, also a bit miffed about the exclusion of an M variant.

I just checked out the X-plan pricing (which anyone can get for a mere $50), and a GT with the options you mentioned would only be in the high-30s. Still a great deal.
I personally wouldn't say so, but the term has evolved many times over history. It lacks the proportions and rake in its roofline to quality IMO.
