If you think that’s turbo lag, you don’t know what turbo lag is. Also, a heavier vehicle doesn’t slow down faster. All things being equal, a heavier vehicle will decelerate more slowly.

I think it can be argued pretty easily that Jalopnik’s crowd isn’t responsible for this. There’s not much intersection between the sets of people who can buy new Mercedes, do buy new Mercedes, and Jalopnik readers.

I guess I’m not following you besides the fact that you hate copyright. It’s got problems for sure, but it exists to protect the rights of people that make things. This person was literally just streaming the show and doing nothing but reacting to it. Neither adding nor changing anything. That’s not fair use; that’s

For that kind of money, this is easy NP as long as it has clear title.

You’re probably not wrong that a whole pile of stop signs mightn’t need to be stop signs. The fact of the matter here is, though, that they are stop signs. You’re supposed to stop at them. You don’t get to decide not to just because you don’t like it.

I can’t say I’m surprised. I wasn’t actively looking for content from DriveTribe, but it didn’t really filter into my sphere much. All I really ever saw was the occasional article posted on FaceBook and it was almost always something about when the next episode of Grand Tour was coming out or whether it had been

Those taillights are heinous.

A good friend of mine had one and loved it until the engine blew up, which I guess was (is?) a common thing. She’s understandably a bit bent about that and now refuses to go near Kia or Hyundai.

Yeah? I didn’t think it was *that* weird. What parts of it didn’t make sense that needed to?

It is, but it’s one of those “I’d agree with you, but then we’d both be wrong” kind of opinions.

Directly responsible? No. But does it reflect badly on them when someone who’s well known as one of their longtime employees drags his ass on the carpet? Definitely.

Eh, I see what you’re saying, but there’s nothing incorrect with this statement. He they just kind of implied that “right to have an opinion” means “right to shout in an echo chamber and hope nobody else will form an opinion of their own based on the craziness they just heard.” Nazis absolutely have the right to free

I get that the COVID Reality Distortion Effect has hours feeling like days, but the dude’s been gone barely a quarter.

This guy’s having been a major player at Blizzard for more than two decades speaks to the fact that the company’s upper management was (is?) a total cesspool. You’re right that it’s a bit clickbaity, but you’re wrong that it’s unrelated.

No mention of the fuel pump on late E46’s with M56 engines, eh? Well, E46 fuel pumps are famous for failing at somewhere between 80 and 100k. For older ones, it’s just an inconvenience. It’s neither horrifically expensive nor that hard to replace; it’s under a cover beneath the rear seat. For newer ones with M56

The cabin filter in my E46 is under a cover, under the hood, just in front of the cowl. The hardest part is reaching all the clips if you’re short.

Oh, there’s absolutely positive uses. I’ve had a Tile for years that I’ve kept looked to my keys. If I have my phone, I can find my keys. If I have my keys, I can find my phone. It’s great.

Tags are attached to an Apple ID, which is supposed to be personally identifiable. Just like most anything else, you can make shit up when you make an account.

Sure, but this goes beyond just a bit easier. It makes it all sorts of simple and accessible, plus it works with an infrastructure most people already are bought into and know their way around.

I’d be lying if I didn’t think this was going to happen at some point.
