If it was “babied,” then why is the brake fluid darker than my soul?

Not only is the fluid in the master cylinder reservoir overall, it’s all black and nasty, as if it’s not been changed in a decade. That combined with the apathy about the “pulley bearing” speaks to a lack of care about maintenance in general. Porsches are fairly durable, but they’re like any other European car;

That is dumb. Canada’s more than happy to share their weather with a fairly large chunk of the country.

No hatch makes Jack a sad boy.

I have met a couple car salesmen that weren’t afraid to say they didn’t know an answer and were willing to go find out if it was something that mattered. They’re definitely a tiny minority, though. They both worked for dealers that didn’t do commission, though. That might have been the trick.

I’d rather not. I expect that LED panel to be not inexpensive to replace and you know that expressing an emotion — *any* emotion — to a driver behind you is going to greatly increase the probability that they rear-end you.

If by “inspiring” you mean that they haven’t slowly drowned all of their designers in a pool of plain oatmeal and forced their dead yet still animate husks to churn out the most mediocre things a human being could gaze upon without immediately falling into a deep state of ennui, then sure. But, these are concepts and

It may behoove you to look up the statute of limitations on insurance fraud...

That sounds like Audi’s M.O. for those. They might cover the replacement of the follower, but they’re hoping that the damage done to the cam and maybe the cam journals — so, the head — don’t show up fast enough for you to catch it under warranty.

I feel like the inside of this van has been witness to commit any number of felonies.

Always being ready part of believing in yourself.

They should. How can I expect them to advise me about the products they sell if they don’t know what they are? I don’t expect them to be engineers, but I do expect them to have a working knowledge of their wares.

I would expect a salesman to have something useful to say in regards to questions about what a car manufacturer does with my data. At the very least, he should be prepared to refer me to whatever prepared statement they have on the subject. I wouldn’t expect him to know the exact nuts and bolts of the protocols and

If the assumption that car salesmen have any idea about the product they’re selling is ridiculous, then why do they get to complain now that people are asking them questions they don’t know the answer to where they didn’t before?

I bought an out of warranty BMW. To drive while the BMW was broken or down for the winter, I bought an out of warranty Audi.

“So many of the questions aren’t even about the car,” said Joe Jackson, general sales manager at suburban Detroit Bowman Chevrolet.

I would absolutely buy an S if I didn’t have a library of games on disc I wasn’t willing to throw out. I’m a slow adopter of video hardware — I only got a 4K TV a few months ago, by accident, and it’s not even the TV I game on — and I don’t generally care about the whiz-bang features on the higher end ones because of

You’ll forgive me for having very little sympathy for dealers complaining about people asking them real, important questions about how they might actually go about *using* an EV. The market is changing. You either change with it or you get left in the dust. Whining about people asking questions you don’t know the

I heard of a few people getting failed for this when I was preparing to get my license a few decades ago. In my state, you’re not allowed to drive without another licensed driver in good standing and 18 or over in the car when you have only a learner’s permit. They also had (have?) a rule about permit drivers not

You’re not worried about Troy getting up in your stuff again?
