Really?
Really?
I’ve had to deal with this before. When I was having some major gut issues - couldn’t drink coffee. Headaches were awful. Taper off of it is the best advice. Start reducing your intake slowly over the course of a week or two by a cup or so a day. Also, doing everything half-caf is a great way to do it and take…
Porsche 964 valve covers. Hmmmm...let’s use dissimilar metals for the covers and the block and then machine them REALLY tight so we don’t have to use gaskets!! Jah! That will work... and create a wonderful oil-painting on garage floors around the world.
Are those bullet holes on the back of that Caddy? If so, that has to be the slowest, least manueverable gettaway car ever...
Yes, Yes Yes YES YES! Seriously. Pisses me off so much.
Anyone know if this applies to any revolving credit agreement (i.e. HELOCs or reserve lines of credit) or only to credit card accounts?
I am completely blown away by how many states have ZERO protections. You’d think there would be some sort of laws about it, right?!
Awesome, thanks for letting me know. All jest aside, we were about 1 mi away from the highway we needed to be on (and didn’t realize/see) and it just kind of shit the bed on us. I’ll let them know so it doesn’t happen to someone else.
We figured when it told us to take Skyline to 280 it was faster, not 13 miles out of the way. Lesson learned on that one. Wife was co-driver...she’s taken me some interesting place in the world (middle of nowhere in Morocco, through the center of Florence), but she always seems to get me there so I don’t complain.
Many thanks, I’ll do that for sure. Maybe they could add an “adventure mode” if one wants a drive like I had...have to admit it was fun :)
I’d love to know what hacks I need to do to waze to get it to not lead me down random roads. Third time it happened yesterday. Left me in somebody’s driveway in the middle of nowhere in Corte Madera when I was trying to go to SFO. Resulted in going down a great twisty road, but would rather have done that when I…
I agree with your sentiment on this and trust me, I’d love to see it go up in a cloud as well, but keep in mind that nuclear weapons have never again been used in aggression since the US ended WWII. We were the only ones that had them then. It sets a remarkably dangerous precedence to use even tactical nuclear weapons…
Johari, I have the utmost respect for how you handled this entire situation and for the humility that came across in this interview. Thank you for showing that civility, dignity, and principle still have a place in our country and that patriotism isn’t just some punch line for the right wing.
Wait... Christmas has colors?
Point taken...I always think it’s funny when I mention to people I can’t tell what their heatmaps or charts are doing because they’re all red and green...
Thank you for that term - I’ve been trying to figure out how to explain it to people for a while and desaturation is the perfect term. 6% is a big chunk of the population, it amazes me how “blind” people are to this condition when they design things.

Had someone in our neighborhood call the cops because some kids were riding bikes without a helmet... (*how about you go have a talk with their parents first people*). I really feel for you guys having to deal with passive-aggressive stupidity.
With all respect, I work in the foodservice industry and I’m terrified of deep frying. Burning hot oil ain’t nothing to mess with. And the risk of burning hot oil actually burning (i.e. flames) in the kitchen is even more terrifying!
And this is how beautiful the end of the world looks folks. Keep on hoping we only see tests in our lifetimes.
