Exactly my thoughts as I was reading this. Reading that paragraph, I almost felt compelled to yawn. It’s like watching Star Wars and pointing out that there’s no sound in space. Like, we know. Everybody knows. Nobody cares.

Someone pay this man to recreate the whole game.  I would definitely buy a remaster of Dark Forces II.

You've interpreted his bit in a very bizarre way.

Now let’s hear your dating dos and don’ts!

Well, no one is saying to take away an Oscars or Emmys nominations from Directors that are known to be assholes or from productions that go over schedule or over budget.

I’m always baffled by this...why open a tab with plans to use it at...some point? If I don’t have time to read it immediately, it’s not worth reading. I might have 5 tabs open at once at most, and that’s just for doom-scrolling my kinja notifications: say, Lifehacker.com, kinja, and 3 notifications at a time. Once I’m

My husband makes us lattes with the aeropress every morning. It’s become tradition to start making those lattes with some added eggnog the moment said eggnog can be purchased at the grocery store. Which this year ended up being Nov. 1st. We were watching for it all late October because we’re all so ready for this year

As someone who’s legitimately excited about a Biden presidency, the notion that having ‘a different old white man sitting behind the Resolute desk’ would somehow make the ‘worst people’ ‘go away’ is... a bit much to take in a PS5 review. And kind of creepy, honestly. I’m not saying there’s no reason to feel that way,

I generally agree with this list, although Rogue Squadron on PC was miles better then the N64 version

My habit of putting eggnog in my coffee on the daily for all of November and December every year will probably kill me. I decided it was worth it.

You are a sad, strange little man, and you have my pity. Farewell.

I’m dying for THPS3 and 4 now. The remaster is so much fun and I know the first two games are many people’s favorites but THPS3 is my favorite.

*buys [and eats] egg rolls*  wtf is a leftover egg roll?

Yeah. Hate to be a party pooper but this story is missing a vital piece of context, which is what it generally costs to clear any song for this kind of commercial usage. Seriously doubt that $60k is vastly above market average.

Seriously. The Office had some solid jokes, but I’ve never heard anyone reference the time Michael sang 6 seconds of what’s almost a novelty song.

Single player Star Wars.

His stage name wasn’t Eddie Creative Commons...

This.  It’s not rocket science, despite that the author seems to think.

As a Canadian, I really don’t know how anyone can eat that corn syrup shit. If you give me that to put on my pancake, I’m gone! Maple Syrup for life!

And on the same subject, please stop buying pancake mix, they are nasty and pancake recipe is the simplest thing in the world, that everyone should have the ingredients

I’d say Jedi Knight:Dark Forces II is better. People overlook it for Jedi Knight: Outcast, probably because the latter was available on consoles, so more people played it. Still, the original had Half-Life-esque levels, in the sense of lived-in places that felt like they served a purpose, and a year before Half-Life
