Is anyone honestly surprised? Who is expecting the quality of a larger sensor camera in a smart phone photo taken indoors? It’s the one place where smart phones greatly struggle still.

lenovo P series is tight. I bought a mid range P71 for a client and it cost about 2900CAD. It looks like a thinkpad, but everything feels so much butter better. Really nice touch pad, doesn’t try to do anything special, it just works very well, and doesn’t have the terrible macbook-imposter…

I tried the same recently. Actually, I went through 4 different laptops before giving up and going back to a MBP: XPS 13, Surface Laptop, Huawei Matebook X Pro, LG Gram.

The trackpads were all okay, but they just paled in comparison to the MBP’s. I gave each device a solid 2 weeks, but I kept having to return them…

I hate the things that try to be everything to everyone and end up making some ridiculous compromises. I’d rather have a $1200 gaming rig and a $300 chromebook instead of spending an extra $1000 and have something that’s not as powerful as the desktop or not as light/portable as the chromebook.
