I am hoping to god for more of those naked-in-the-middle-of-nowhere stories. I literally curled up in a ball while reading that, but it wasn't me so it was glorious. MORE!

What about Wrigley Field? It's a crucial part of Chicago (and is the second-most popular tourist attraction in the state), so it seems fair that the city/state would help pay for its upgrade. What's your take on that?
Were the weapons bricks? Because his jump shots hit the rim with the force of compressed concrete rectangular blocks, so it would stand to reason that they were the weapon that he used in this particular offense.
All good points, but the transformative PF is pretty rare. Yes, Rose transformed the Bulls... for a few seasons. Now, what will he be when (if?) he comes back? I love Rose, but now that we see what Thibs can do with DJ friggin' Augustin...
That's a good point, how the Aldridge/Thomas trade led to Rose. And while I loved Rose's game early, these last two injuries — I don't know. That's a tough call. Aldridge is a helluva player.
The only piece of evidence available when Paxson seeks to justify the Aldridge/Thomas trade.
I chuckled. And then I felt shame.
Greg Jemmings put the team on his back, so Sharpa was just trying to follow suit.
Yeah Jeets.
What?
That is an awful idea and may your favorite football team perpetually finish 7-9 to punish you for propagating it.
Thanks — very helpful.
Always fun to read, but I think it would be helpful to have some sort of general idea of measurements, re: hot wing sauce. How much sauce/butter? What kind of hot sauce? What about Frank's buffalo sauce? More details would be awesome.
Drew-
Good insight. I completely agree — I don't understand how the Bears can continue to play on that field and say, with a straight face, it's a good field. It's AWFUL. There are better options out there, and I have no idea why they don't explore them.
Great point. I can't believe the Bears don't have Field Turf. That field is astonishingly bad.
I'm a Bears fan, but I like to think I'm fairly objective. That said, I would bet my life savings the Bears would have won a rematch against the Dolphins going away. That defense was absolutely unbeatable in the playoffs, McMahon was back... there's just no way. I know we're talking meatball hypotheticals, but that…
Ok, I spent far too long looking it up — you can see the Staubach hit at 1:06 of this video. (Why doesn't www.youtubetime.com work here, btw?)
I remember this game vividly. It was like a street fight. I remember the play where McMahon's kidney was lacerated — a brutal hit. (You can see it at 4:20 [yeah, bro!] of the video, if the time-anchor doesn't work.) His head gets whipped back violently when he gets hit — it makes you wince just watching it.*
