Thank God it’s not just me.

I have a full set of cocktail glasses but only because I really enjoy the idea of having drinks from the “correct” glasses. I picked up all the cocktail glasses second hand over the years. It’s been a fun hobby.

They’re mostly just figureheads, anyways. Fancylvania established a Parliment of elected FancyPants representatives around the time that rich thirtysomethings pretending to be punk rock with silver Tiffany’s straws and $85 garden hoses became a thing.

Besides the person who pulled this “prank”, they ought to punish whoever wrote the passage. I’m guessing they have no editors or basic grammar classes at this school?

I can at least get to a much bigger city in about 45 minutes and a much nicer city in 2 hours. So there’s that :)

I straightened mine too until the perm. I ended up buzzing all my hair off in college just to get rid of the damage I had done in high school. Now my curls are much happier.

Yep. I live in a relatively large city but the people here are very much of a country mindset. The joke is always that when something is popular, (hometown) will get it about three years later and when something is over, (hometown) will be absolutely flooded with it.

I had chocolate coconut milk ice cream earlier today.

Yeah... animals eat their placenta because otherwise there would be a rotting organ laying around their babies. You know, they get rid of it in the best way they can. Same with the babies’ poop and vomit. Luckily, we have the ability to carry ours to a disposal method other than ingestion.

I’m hoping that if my daughter has curls like me she’ll have it easier since I will show her how to care for them. My mom was of the 70’s and 80’s over processed hair era, she didn’t know how to teach me to have healthy hair.

You clearly don’t live in the south. It’s 95+ degrees with 90% humidity for months on end here. It was 85 out today which is insanely cool for June.
