Yeah, that's one route, but from what I can tell, it would literally be the same width (640) and just a longer height. Meaning you app would look completely normal centred to the bottom or top of the device, and when you use the app, the additional 200 x 640 pixels would in worst case be one black bar, or best case…

But there are some phones without flashes, and front facing cameras.. GPS, screen resolution, proximity sensors.. Gyro.. There are many changes.. (not even mentioning performance required to run modern day apps..

So pretend the aspect ratio is the same.. And the front real estate that is currently just black or white bezel is filled with 2 additional and separate screens (nearly touching the main screen) all apps stay the same..
