Kotaku is like the jerry springer show, trashy and pointless.

Surely the most NSFW article this year was this one.

Here, let me be someone who's genuinely looking forward to the system for a good reason. The main issue I have is the 24 hour check in (I don't buy used or sell my games or lend them to people so the used game DRM is irrelevant to me). Countering that 24 check in is that "family" sharing plan; if you are not familiar

Shhh... don't say that too loudly. You may attract the morons who can't see the clear difference between Microsoft's DRM policy and Sony's DRM policy. They already have too much on their plates, what with the whole "comprehension" thing.

I'm actually very excited about the Xbox One. All of the freakout over DRM and Always Online doesn't bother me at all. I've been dealing with similar things with Bilzzard and Battle.Net for years, and honestly Microsoft opening the door to being able to trade in digital games is more exciting to me than the ability

I tried to warn you, but you didn't listen!

I might not buy either machine. If I do, I'll probably buy the PS4 because of the range of games, from the cute/arty end through to the super-serious blockbusters.

Microsoft said today that what they are doing will effect the way things are sold and hinted at things will be cheaper buying through them. so if Microsoft gets deals with publishers to sell new games for way less then they cost on ps4 because of no retailer and no risk of used games then what are people going to say?
