I think that's part of why I don't like asian food. I can't stand soy sauce.

My Japanese roommate adores southern cooking. She's always asking me to make fried chicken and mac 'n' cheese. She absolutely loves the biscuits and chicken 'n' dumplings when she visited me for Thanksgiving.
I adore southern (American) food, primarily because I'm from the south and that's what I've grown up eating. I'll probably always be more partial to potato, corn, tomato, and chicken based foods because of it. And I'm also really good at frying things. XD
Explains why I've never cared for Asian food. I'm a bit of a picky eater (though I've gotten better about it over the years) and I've just never cared for Asian food. I'll try most things, but I've rarely liked any of the Asian food I've tried. And trust me, I've tried authentic stuff. My roommate is studying abroad…
Language fail. The western "L" sound doesn't exist in Japanese, not Korean.
I hope this leads to some kind change in North Korea. Based on all the things I've read and seen about it, it seems like it would be virtually impossible for things to get any worse, given how bad things are already.
I'm a girly girl and I hate pink. Being girly != liking pink. Many girls like pink that are not girly. Many girls that are girly loathe pink. Liking pink is not a litmus test of determining whether or not someone is girly. Now excuse me, I have a fashion blog to read while I do my nails.
It just pisses me off that pink is the default color for pretty much anything targeted at women. Some boys like pink, some women hate pink. People need to stop defining genders by fucking colors. I really can't stand those pastel blues and pinks they use for babies. I mean, I can understand using gendered colors for…
Me too! I would heart you if I hadn't already.
Not bad. Just please, please don't buy things in pink just because you're getting it for a girl. Many girls, such as myself, fucking hate pink. Ew, please stop.
Parenting- you're doing it right.
Omigod. Why have I not seen that strip before? jkbfk.asdbfdshbfksbg
I almost cried. I read so much Calvin & Hobbes in elementary school, probably because I was like the cross of Calvin and Susie as a kid. Actually, considering my parents, it's probably more accurate to say that I was the child of Calvin and Susie. Ugh, I'll just leave this here and go cry.
Yeah, she really sparked the enormous growth the Young Adult/Children's genre has experienced in the last decade. Even Stephenie Meyer deserves some credit. Twilight is hardly literary genius, but it's served as a gateway drug for many teens, getting them interested in reading much better books and encouraging even…
And for every hilarious solution, there is another progressively more ridiculous.
I read a lot more on my Kindle, partly because I acquire books a lot cheaper and partly because I've been reading a lot of bricks lately and my Kindle makes it so much easier to carry them around. George R.R. Martin is hella wordy.
Well for starters make it easier to access accommodations. It was so fucking hard to get the necessary documentation while being so depressed that I could barely get out of bed and to class that I ended giving up on them and just couldn't motivate myself to get help because I was fucking depressed. My grades suffered…
Nice, but mine's prettier (now a K3).
I fucking love multi-toed cats. I want one sooooo bad. When my family was thinking about adopting another cat, I would search for the polydactyl ones specifically on pet finder.
I don't ever wear pants. I wonder what this says about me. Surely my tights and three layers of clothing counterbalance my skirt.
