I am pleased to say that my first kisses were never like that (at least I don't think so). My first one was just lips pressed together for a few moments and my first time making out, well, I'm actually not sure, but the guy gave me good reviews. Same from the next few guys I snogged, so I'm assuming I didn't look like

OMG. Are you... Danielle Corsetto??? If so, jdhsBFjlsdhbcjlsbdkfasbdmvbdmn... I LOVE YOU. (and lol, cannibalism. Bahahaha.)

Amen, sister. 21-year-old virgin for the exact same reasons you outlined, and though I'd love to lose the v-card, I'm not in so urgent a need that I'll settle for someone that I have no attraction to. I can wait. That's what masturbation's for.

No wonder my friend Ling's mom wants her to find a job here in America and stay here (she's studying abroad here for her four years of college).

I used to tune them all out with a book, which then resulted in my uncle making fun of me for reading (which probably explains his son's literacy issues at school). Nowadays, I just tune them out with the internet and liveblog the madness on tumblr. This year I have an excuse to go to bed as soon as I'm done eating

Omigod, are you me? I'm having the exact same dilemma. I mean, I am the odd person out at my family functions, but I don't think anyone hates me (even when I argue with them about how dated their views are regarding women). Either way, this chart is waaay too accurate.

I repeat, I was a freaked-out 18 year old, and if you paid attention to what I wrote, the harassing started after I completed my practicum, so I was no longer in regular contact with my cooperating teacher. No one has ever told me in my almost four years of college what to do in that sort of situation, and I certainly

I don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, I can see how her story could be true. I'm studying to be a teacher, and during my freshman year of college, I had a teaching practicum in a eighth grade class. First of all, I was shocked by how... old some of the students looked. It much be hormones in the meet or

I have daddy issues with Santa Claus because my dad is a professional real-bearded Santa Claus. Wait, do other people have this problem too???

As a straight girl, I like gay bars for drag queens. They're one of my favorite forms of entertainment. Aside from that tidbit, I do have a word of advice for straight people in non-straight environments (whether is be a general queer bar, GSA, Pride festival, etc.):

I'm in college still. I'm taking a year off of school right now, for mental health reasons, but I'll be a senior 2012-2013 and then go into my four years of service.

I mean, I've always wanted to teach, so that's not a major issue to me, I'm just sick of North Carolina.

And of course I sold my soul to North Carolina through Teaching Fellows. Damn, I'm getting my four years in and then getting the fuck out of here. Fucking Republicans, fucking over my home state.

Why thank you. I don't mind paying more for quality when I know it's something that I'm going to use every day, like a watch or my work bag. Also, Oberon ethically makes their products in the US per order, rather than mass producing, which also justifies the price, in my opinion.

That exists? *facepalm*

Haha, where I'm from there's actually quite a bit of blues dancing. It's not something I'd care to learn, though, unless I'm learning it with a guy that I'm interested in. I'm too socially awkward to dance that sluttily with strangers. XD

Ahhh I wish I could have gone to the London Lindy Exchange while I was there. Alas, I couldn't afford it. There's a much wider selection of guys at that event. And I would loveeeeee to find a guy swing dancing. It's gotten to the point where I don't really flirt with guys that I don't meet dancing because it's become

What? I'm confused by what you mean. The Kindle supports waaaaay more formats than the Nook- pretty much everything but epub, and that's not an issue if you're getting non-DRMed content. It takes less than a minute to convert your files to mobi for the Kindle on Calibre. It also makes PDFs way more readable to convert

Alas, no. Where I'm from, I'm lucky if I get to dance three times a month. Even when I lived in London, dancing three times a week, most of the people were way older than me- in their thirties at best. Here at home, it's about the same. There are plenty of girls my age who do it, but not nearly enough guys.

All those teens swing dancing made me tear up a bit. I'm 21 and I love swing dancing. Alas, if only there were more people my age who did it. I would love to find a guy my age that can swing dance well- I've met a few, but i don't get to see them very often.
