Humanity concerns me.

In NC, we drive into SC for the good fireworks all the time. Take 'em out into one of the empty fields and no one will care, especially on the 4th.

Not really. The Kindle can read pretty much any format except epub, and the solution is just to get DRM-free epubs and convert them to .mobi via Calibre. My friend with a Nook has had to turn down books because her Nook couldn't read them, while I've never had that problem on my Kindle.

If you bought them from the Amazon store, no. Those are in Amazon's proprietary AZW format, which only works on Kindles. That's why I get most of my books in DRM-free .mobi format in case I ever want to switch.

*pssh*

Seriously, that queen's penis is a unicorn- it only exists if you believe it exists.

Oh, I too think that Dick Whitman is such a dick. I'm a history major, though, and I just can't resist watching. I love watching it for the women in the show- brave Peggy, enduring Joan, and angry Sally. Watching their journeys (the the fantastic costumes) make the entire show worth it.

HEARTED. Fucking brilliant.

This is so relevant to my life right now.

As a straight girl, I show my support by wearing one of the gay pride pins given out by my school's GSA on my bag all the time, despite the looks I get from my very conservative family and church. The people that take issue with me wearing my pin know that I'm straight (or most of them do, anyway), and "I don't care

It's called a parody, darling. Google it.

I'm just gonna leave this here.

Hey, hey! Men AND women! Bacon-loving lady here!

My Kindle looks gorgeous outside- if this has the same e-ink panel (which I've heard it has), you should be fine. There is a little bit of glare if I'm sitting next to a bright lamp, but outside there's no glare at all and you can easily read while wearing sunglasses (if you so choose).

Hearted. Damn, Shania needs to make more music.

I coach a colorguard, actively participate in musical theatre, am good friends with drag queens (and go to their shows), and can easily identify designer fashion yet somehow was identified as 3/4 a man. These must be some gay men. I think I got extra points for saying that I could "bed a woman" in 24 hours, but that's

The shoes really are super comfortable and their cordones provide a nice compromise between style and traditional sneakers (for me they do, anyway- I hate the style, or lack there of, of traditional sneakers). I'd rather spend $60 on a pair of Toms than on a pair of Chucks (my former pseudo-sneaker of choice) and know

I don't usually mind spending a lot of money on sunglasses, but that's mainly because I need prescription sunglasses and my insurance covers most of the price. I would totally get these if they made them available at Lenscrafters, but otherwise, no. I so rarely wear my contacts during the day (I usually wear them when
