Ugh, Shangela.

That's like me giving birth to my sister and then her giving birth. Ewwwwwww.

I'm aware that "loss of (some) privilege =/= oppression", but it doesn't make it suck any less. I guess I'm just trying to point out that it's narrow-minded to assume that not all people have been discriminated against. Everyone has been at some point in time (some way more and way worse than others), but it's wrong

"The six of us would sit in the same room in complete silence and either waste hours battling on Scrabulous.com or sending each other Bumper Stickers."

OMG I MISS THAT.

I don't really see a point in differentiating. Just because one was done on a larger scale than the other doesn't it make it any less wrong. Though I understand the paranoia behind it, the government did a shitty thing to a lot of its people- it just did the shit to a larger number of one group than the other. I just

Actually, they were locked away. Japanese, Italian, and German Americans all were locked up in internment camps, but only the Japanese-American internment is widely known and taught (primarily because it was the most wide-spread). The U.S. government actually issued apologies to the the Japanese and Italian Americans,

There isn't really prejudice against white people in America to the same degree as there is towards people of other color. That's life. Get over it.

The world needs more men like you. Go to law school and fight for equal rights for all (meanwhile, I'm going to be a teacher in the hopes of making more men like you out of the ridiculous teenage boys that'll come my way- that's what history classes should do).

That's hilarious. *off to go find a guy that'll make me a naughty chocolate machine*

Am I a bad person for thinking this is kind of hilarious? It sounds like something out of a sitcom or a Seth MacFarlane show.

What if you're great with some dancing and terrible at others? I'm a pretty good ballroom dancer, ok at ballet, fantastic with swing (whenever I feel bad about myself, I go out and swing dance because people will actually stop and watch me and make me feel like I have some sort of worth), but it starts going down hill

That suit's actually pretty snazzy looking. Pin stripes are hot, and if it comes with the matching vest, then bravo.

すばらしい!日本人ですか?

"and Apple arguably being the most powerful company around"

I was a Girl Scout growing up and it was like I was my school's crack dealer. Under the table deals, sneakily selling them to the teachers (selling stuff in school was very frowned upon), people begging for the last of the Samoas at the end of the season- it was intense.

OMG I love this. And I'm glad Willow Smith is out there making songs like this- she's a much better role model for girls growing up than the pop stars I had. As much as I love Britney, I would have much preferred to listen to this when I was 10, instead of her bemoaning her lost love and inexplicably asking him to hit

Mythbusters totally already covered this ages ago.

I don't really have standards so much in that regard. I'm fully aware that my first time may royally suck, I just would like it to suck (if that's the case) with someone that I care about and can laugh about it with later. And trust me, though I have been sexless, I have by no means been orgasmless. I'm hoping that if
