@Nick2: Atom motherboards can be insanely small, there is even a tablet form factor for Atom motherboads. You can easily fit an Intel Atom in macbook air.

@Nick2: ARM support is a ways off since it'll be part of NaCl (nativeclient). But ultimately ARM would be the most ideal since its significantly cheaper then x86 based chips.

Actually I was thinking the Google Chrome notebooks should look like the new Macbook Airs. Ultra thin.

@anitesh.jaswal: First off, this is irrelevant to this TV. But I'm kinda tired of this misinformed FUD.

@AMGkiller: No, it clearly isn't simple.

@ddhboy: Well, its unlikely that either the 3DS or the PSP2 will be built in Japan. Both the DS and PSP are currently built in China, as are every other gaming and Apple product.

Giorgetto Giugiaro still designs Nikons, it didn't end with the F3. In fact, the current Nikon D3 is his design as well (not to mention the previous Dx models).

Toshiba's press release says the TVs are targeted for ASEAN regions; Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, etc.

This is seriously becoming propaganda.

Very good link, puts things in perspective, but they should add a parameter for political costs:

Super 35mm sensor is interesting. It means it isn't derived from a dSLR sensor since the dimensions are different. And S35 has no relevance in still photography.

Sony seriously just needs to make an app store for the PS3. A proper SDK and enough support it should easily go up against the Apple iTV.

Kinda surprised being that Sony has their own movie rental service on the PS3.

Airwolf had a max speed of Mach 2. Sikorsky needs to work on their Ernest Borgnine technology to compete with that.

Forgotten engine?

Leica owner portion of this article is complete B.S. (and I'm saying this as a former Leica owner and Epson R-D1).

I had the bungee-cord chair; bought it from the Container Store. Its a good chair, but its not comfortable to sit in nude. And I am nude most of the time.

Several years ago I remember CAR magazine (or it could have been Evo) pondering a similar concept. What would a race car look like without regulations?
